swords clashed throughout the land, whether in ancient lands of time or lost cities of peace legendary swords bring humanity together for a last stand of all time. a ripple across dimensions bringing fourth every living being, a legendary hero arises to slay its evil. The sky was red that night and the bloody moon hung low over the ocean. Thalassus brought his harpoon over the edge of his canoe when he noticed a red comet hurtling toward the city of Atlantis, he quickly rowed back to the city and docked the canoe when he noticed the king carrying the legendary blade of Atlantis. The blade was made out of 100% orichalcum and was considered to be the sharpest weapon in existence the only thing that could stop the blade was a shield made out of pure orichalcum as well.
Thalassus ran towards the screaming and yelling strapping his shield over his gauntlet on his left arm. The king swung the blade killing everyone and any man that attempted to stop the king died. Thalassus stopped a few feet in front of the king watching in anguish, Thalassus measured and studied each and every movement waiting for the perfect time to strike. The king unknowingly turned his back revealing a blood red-shard emitting a pure evil aura, it was clearly the blame for the bloodshed. He quickly ran in to fight the king and remove the shard from his back, dodging and defending against every attack. Thalassus waited for the prime opportunity came for a counter attack, he waited patiently as his own shield endured countless scars and slashes. then the perfect time came ...

Noboru treked across the mountain path the rocky path, he looked up towards the sun it's ray shone down like everyday but he felt a strange tingling in his head, "A shard.....is somewhere", he said but it wasnt him who said it, it was his blade Soul Edge. He drew the blade it was almost his entire height he stared at it, the eye flexed he knew it could feel the shard it called for it's other smaller pieces to complete it and as so it need him to collect them it was his birth right.
He withdrew the blade and looked down into the forest, "I'll find you and complete you Soul Edge and then our village will be the strongest in all the world it is my birthright", he said then he continued back on his journey the sense of the shard still in his head.

Lucifer held a red shard of some kind of organic metal in his hand "so this is a shard of the demon sword." he said top himself. "i must find the other shards and bring them to father. then i shal attain godhood."
lucifer walked to the north, he hasd memorized the shards aura and sought after shards with the same aura. his quest had begun. several days ago, the gods sent him on a "right of passage" quest to acheive his destiny. his mission was to collect the shards of the demon sword and return it to the hall of the gods. where its power would make him succesor to the unholy god, his father.

Noboru sliced the gullet of the Lizardman open and grabbed the shard he had holding in his hand, "Thank you for this shard", said Noboro inspecting it before shoving it into Soul Edge. He felt the power of Soul Edge grow and could sense more shards all over the world, "Soon Soul Edge you will be the most powerful weapon in this world and we will bring peace", he said walking off into the forest.

Thalassus seized the opportunity and parried the king's blade and thrusted his own into the king's chest. for that moment everything seemed quiet, the island was sinking there was water up to his knees. Thalassus pulled his sword from the king's chest and picked up the red shard laying at his side. Thousands of images rushed through his head images of war, bloodlust and anger. then a voice echoed "i can give you true power, accept me and bind me to yourself". almost instinctively Thalassus threw the shard as hard as he could to the east, he hoped that europe could do something about the shard after all men were more vial and prone to dark temptation. It was the last hope if an Atlantean held a shard the power would be immense, rivaling that of a god. The water began to rise wave crashed against buildings Atlantis was sinking and it was time to leave Thalassus ran to the nearest boat, a small fishing vessal, and cut the bonds and sailed off to make sure the world would remain in piece.

Noboro broke a man's back and seized another shard as the villagers gathered around him. He stared at them and then swung his blade cleaving the surronding villagers, he gripped the shard, "There are man in this part of the world I can feel them I must collect all of them", he said shoving the shard into the blade before leaving the villager.
