This is a new concept I'm trying on the Rift, that of each member's own personal Riftspace. Make a thread with a room, a dungeon, an apartment, a car, a private jet, I dun care, but where you go to relax, type in your day, chat with other people on your thread, etc. It's your own corner of the Rift.
My space here is a nice modern loft set in a high-rise apartment building in a huge city, 30th floor, with a big one-way window looking out over the central park. (No, it's not New York). The furniture is mostly white or light brown, with modern art-deco fixtures, and is slightly messy. The whole thing has a semi-bohemian feel about it, and it is a dual-level loft, with the bedroom and bathroom up on a half-balcony connected to the main level by a spiral staircase, and the lower level being one big open room with a library section, a kitchen, and a sitting/gaming area.
Describe your room in your own thread, and type whatever you feel like in it, from what your day was, to what you are currently doing in your room.
I am currently sitting in my gaming area with my 360, playing Alone in the Dark, sipping homemade iced tea, and munching on some ordered chinese. I'm also musing on the nature of online forums, and how people can so easily act in an anonymous manner on them.

I'm napping in the library area, surrounded by a ton of book stacks, and snoozing in my favorite big plushy leather chair. I'm also musing on the nature of the infinite, and whether or not humankind can comprehend the depths of the universe without going insane.

I'm nomming on some home-made ramen in the kitchen, writing up a new fan-fiction based on my character in World of Warcraft. I'm also musing on the next expansion planned for the game, that of a Cataclysm that will rock the WoW planet causing death, destruction, and mayhem.
That, and WoW is down for maintenance, so I'm bored as all get out.

Today's Update:
Currently napping on my comfy couch, lots of Nero Wolfe books in stacks around me, and an empty pizza box on the table. Dreaming of what it would be like to be able to fly under my own power, zooming around clouds and tall buildings.
