Thread for general discussion on the third book in the trilogy.

Ive heard mention of a third Rider in this book, apparently Paolini says there were plenty of clues in the first two books as to who it was... can anyone say Roran?

Aye, hes the only character who is focused on enough to be considered, unless I am completely forgetting something, or perhaps your suggesting the cursed child?

When is the next book coming out? It's been awhile since I read the first two so I don't remember enough to comment. I'm currently reading the Foundation trilogy again but could switch over once I'm done with them.

Wiki didnt mention, but Im certain is either almost through the writing phase, or just exiting, wiki quoted several interviews with Paolini, ive just been too caught up with all the bull going on over at GB to really look much further into it.

Good news for those of us who have been waiting for this book: Paolina has finally announced a title and release date for the third book. He also announced some time ago that this book would not, in fact, be the last book in his trilogy, just the third. He intends to make this a series of four books simply because he had so damn much to write.

Go here for all the information on the next installment Brisingr which is to be released this September.

Has anyone else read Brisingr yet?

I liked it more than Eldest. It's a good book. happy.gif

I read it the day it came out, excellent book. It definitely broke the whole thing accusation of being a star wars rip off.
I am, however, confused as to what the seven promises were. There was the oath of fealty to Nasuada, Hrothgar, the elves, and Elva, but what were the rest?

I bought it, but never got around to reading it before it was stolen and added to a library collection.

So I'll have to read it over the Christmas break.
