So I've heard you guys like Baldurs Gate, Well I liked that game too, but I've misplaced my cd.
In other news I just picked up the Diablo II Battle Chest And guess what it reminds me of, That's right Baldurs Gate, Unfortunately it's totally outdated from 1995. Diablo III is coming out later in the fall and I wanted to get ready for it. Anyone else play this cool game? Um.... they're quite a bit different.... Diablo I/II don't really have much of a plot...and there's no character development or open-ended story choices (you have to kill monsters...as opposed to other RPGs where you choose ways to do things).
Also, Diablo III is not coming out for quite awhile. It's definitely not coming out until after Starcraft II...and I wouldn't expect that until late '09 at the earliest. Anyway, I've played both 1 and 2. -------------------- |

Unofficially, yes. But this is goddamn Blizzard we're talking about, they're quite famous for delaying games until "they're done".

I ever played Diablo 2 many years ago but I didn't like it. I preferred Starcraft more.

Well you're comparing Apples to Oranges there, Des What's the matter? don't like your citric fruit in the morning? When I say it reminds me of Baldur's Gate, I'm more or less talking about the lay out and the obscure fighting system game play, you walk around killing things and when they drop loot it's right there to pick up instead of picking it out of a list like WoW does. You got a problem with that?  If I don't like it, I don't like it. Plain and simple.  And to be clear, I was comparing it with other games Blizzard made, so I'm not totally off-the-mark here in what I was saying.
Was I even referring to Baldur's Gate in my post?
