Been playing Opposing Fronts recently and I find it a worthy sequel to CoH. Just be warned that the building elements and the unit/skill trees in the sequel are quite different than the original game and need some getting used to. Not to mention that you cannot build listening posts unto strategic points unlike the original game.

One thing to note is that in this sequel, there is more micromanagement in the game. Depending on how you view this level of micromanagement, I find it rather annoying especially in the case of giving a variety of weapon upgrades to infantry squads and, on the British side, you can even embed an officer with a squad, an idea taken from their Warhammer RTS games. Unlike Wahammer, the officer's abilities aren't reflected in the unit he is embedded. Rather you have to individually select him in order to use them. Rather unnecessary, if you ask me.
