This game follows the career of an assassin in the East/Middle East during the crusades. It looks like one of the greatest games that will come out this year (If only it will come out this year.)

I hate this game.
Why? Because from the sounds of it, it is coming out on PS first  I've been looking forward to this game so much, ever since I saw a couple of videos for it and read a few reviews. It looks freaking sweet  -------------------- |

I'm looking forward to this game too. Been keeping tabs on it for a while now.

I have a feeling that this game will leave so much up to the gamer in terms of creative solutions, which is something I am really looking for in games these days. It is games like this, Medal of Honor: Airborne, and Valve's new Half Life mod: Portal that are going to define this next generation of games, or so I hope. OF course, none of these games are quite as defining as the Wii, but then again, Sony and Microsoft have to play with in their own leagues now.

When Assassins Creed comes out on PC, I think it could be vista-only... A shame if it is...

Should we sacrifice a goat to the gods, appease them and let this game come for all OS's, big and small?

Well, that's likely to happen eventually, anyway. Hopefuly by the time it does happen, Microsoft will have ironed out more of the bugs, you'd probably need hardware that'd run Vista at a reasonable rate to play next-gen games, anyway.  I watched the trailer for this, looks good.  However, I did try the latest Prince of Persia game, which seems somewhat similar to this (albeit on the PSP) and didn't like it that much, so I don't know if this'd appeal to me, it probably would depend on how fast it goes, controls etc. -------------------- Uranium 235 and Plutonium 239 walk into a bar. After a few drinks, they split.

So it will run on our 486MHz processor running windows 3.1 then? Or will it run through DOS? @Chat, my laptop is struggling to run S.T.A.L.K.E.R on XP, so Assassins creed looks unlikely to run, especially since the A.I. supposed to be ground breaking... -------------------- #BLOCK^_^DATA#(109):(0000):(Levistus):(Levistus);#BLOCKv_vDATA# |

I don't think the devs mentioned anything as to whether this game will be Vista-only just like Halo 2 for the PC. I'd surely bet that it will be XP and Vista for the PC version, in my opinion.

Razor1911 has already made playing Halo2 and Shadowrun on XP possible.
So it's of little concern whether Assassin's Creed is Vista only or not. -------------------- A co-admin who banned himself.
