"Shall we go home, or are we going back to the lab? . . ."

"We'll go home," he replied, glancing towards her. "No need to go back to the lab. Everything shuts off by itself after a certain time," he added. Aydin knew that because on some occasions he had stayed at the lab late enough, so absorbed in working on his research that everything had shut off on him. Of course, there was an override, but if there wasn't someone there, then everything would shut down and lock up on its own. Everything except for the water and simulated atmospheric conditions in the Green Lab. Aydin had made sure, when designing that lab that those two conditions not be shut off, lest all the important plants die. And they were important. They provided all the oxygen for the lab, and part of the mall upstairs. That way, the Lab didn't have to pay for oxygen and when too much was made for the lab to use, the mall only had to pay half as much as it normally would have. He shook his head inwardly, and focused on what was happening around him.

Aydin automatically went to politely hold the door open for Qrinna as they exited the bar, before following her out. He inhaled a deep breath, glad to be out of the place. It had seemed a lot more peaceful after all the rowdy, drunk customers had left, but even so, Aydin had no liking for places such as that. His dislike for it had only been renewed after going in that night. "I guess, you're probably not very familiar with where things are yet," he said somewhat casually, although Aydin found that he still didn't feel entirely comfortable talking with this girl. He felt almost as if he were walking on eggshells whenever he opened his mouth, even when she was in such a defeated state. He hoped that as they got to know each other, that feeling would eventually go away. "The Living Corner is over this way," he said as he pointed in the direction of the Living Corner, and took a small step towards it. "The majority of the Mars people live there. Its a pretty big place. The only people who don't live there are . . . people who can afford bigger homes and live else where," he explained with a slight shrug.

He watched her for a moment, wondering if she would give any reaction to the information. After that short pause he began in the direction of the living corner at a leisurely pace. "Well, lets get going then. Its not too far."

((I'll make a topic at the apartment))
