He really hated visiting the Creation Science Building. It wasn't that anyone was particularly unlikable there, from what he had seen, but what was done in that building. What was done to people in there disgusted him. They gave up their humanity for an improved body. He shook his head inwardly. He had thought that people would be smart enough to think a little before they went ahead with the procedure. There had to be a reason that the head of Creation Science didn't go ahead exchange her own body. And yet, even when these people saw that, they didn't ever doubt or wonder why. Again, he shook his head. Despite how much he hated visiting the place, it was necessary sometimes. Every now and again when he had made a break through or was ready to release something to the public, he would have to travel to a couple places to present and explain his discovery. The main places that he had to go and explain his work--if that project had involved improving conditions on Mars--were the Mars Garden, the Space Center, and of course the Central Command. It was only on occasion that he had to travel to other business places, like the Mall and the Creation Science Building. Unfortunately, this was one of those occasions.

Aydin stepped into the building and blinked, surprised at how welcoming it really appeared. It had been a while, and he had forgotten how the lobby lured people in. There were a few people scattered about, doctors in white lab coats walking around, talking or looking at clip boards, then there were others waiting, seated on the couch, all being finely dressed and very rich. Aydin felt very out of place surrounded by all the expensive furnishings and high class citizens. He was dressed quite simply, as always, wearing a pair of semi-casual tan slacks, brown shoes, and a dark green long-sleeve shirt. Not to mention the worn out pack he had slung over his shoulder. He doubted anyone would have guessed that he was actually the owner of the Biology labs.

He cleared his throat and approached the desk to let the secretary know that he was there. The woman behind the desk gave him an odd look as her eyes traveled up and down his form, obviously wondering what such a plain looking person could be doing there. He explained his reason for being there and she, still with a rather odd expression, told him to go and wait as she picked up the phone. When Aydin had come here in the past he had always talked to a representative, never actually the owner. He doubted that he would ever meet the owner, and actually preferred it that way. He had heard about her, and he could already judge by rumors that she was not the type of person Aydin would get along with. At that thought the young scientist had to give himself a mental kick, remembering that it wasn't right to judge others, especially without even meeting them first. Even so . . . he didn't want to meet her.

There was another person in the lobby who wasn't the usual type of person to come in here, tall by terran standards, broad and muscular he looked every inch the military man from his high bald head down to his highly polished black shoes. The fact that he was in formal defence force clothing was also a slight hint that the man might have some sort of military position. He was wearing a lieutenant's pip, dispite the fact he looked more like a man from the ranks, rough hewn and older, lieutenant was the lowest officer rank, yet he looked to be towards his forties. Another thing that would set of alarm bells that he wasn't what he seemed was that there was a large circular electrical socket on the back of his hand.

He didn't look like a trade up, no he had far too many flaws and was obviously flesh and blood. His fidgetting, as if the formal uniform itched, was sign enough that he wasn't a trade up. Eitherway trade ups weren't allowed in the military, one EM attack and they'd be gone, so either he had just retired or he was here on some other bussiness. He saw the other man who didn't fit in here either sit down and a look of recognition crossed his face, the huge bulk of man stood up and crossed the lobby to him a nod to a couple of people as he passed them. Finally he spoke, the voice was like him, rough in tone, but not in nature, "Dr. Sage I presume."

He stood before the doctor, his frame now even more obvious, and as he extended his right hand in an effort to be polite and shake the man's hand the socket became more obvious, it looked like some sort of high tech data conduit. He spoke again "Lieutenant Jameson, Mars Defence Force. Sir, if you forgive my saying I pay a great deal of interest to your research, it fascinates me." That would suggest he was no ordinary officer, most wouldn't even hear about research, he obviously had very high clearence.

Aydin sat with his pack in his lap and his eyes cast down as he waited to present his latest improvement. Whenever he came to the Creation Science Building, he never knew how long he was going to wait. Sometimes he had to wait only a couple minutes, while other times he had waited over three hours. He was a fairly patient person, but he hoped today was not one of the later waiting days. He wanted to get back to his lab and continue working, plus he had other places to go still. He figured that if he did end up having to wait a long time, he could always finish presenting his work to the other places he was required to go the next day, but he had hoped to finish all this up that day, and take as little time as necessary. He sighed to himself and leaned back into the couch that he was sitting on, not paying enough attention to notice the man approaching him.

"Dr. Sage I presume."

The young scientist jumped slightly when he was unexpectedly addressed. Aydin blinked and stared up at the bulk of a man that had approached. The person before him didn't fit in at all either. In fact, he might have even stood out more than Aydin.Almost everything about this man screamed military. Aydin grimaced inwardly, but didn't let the expression slip to his features. After his own experiences in the military Aydin had become somewhat of a pacifist, but he tried not to judge those who were involved in the military. What right did he have to judge? Aydin set his pack on the floor near his feet before quickly standing up and flashing a quick smile. "That's me, but I would rather that you just call me Aydin" he responded with a slight grin as he looked up at the man. He was a little confused that this man had recognized him. It was rare for anyone to recognize who he was or even to have heard of a "Dr. Sage" and the "Biology Labs". Most people weren't really interested, and Aydin had a tendency to keep to himself most of the time. Aydin glanced down at the man's hand before taking it politely and giving it a firm shake.

"Pleasure to meet you Lieutenant," Aydin replied as he dropped the hand and let his own fall to his side. At hearing Darius' next comment the young scientist chuckled slightly and scratched the back of his head, almost seeming embarrassed by the compliment. "Really? Thank you. Actually, that's probably the first time I've ever heard someone say that." He wondered how much this guy actually knew about his research, since Aydin tried his best to avoid releasing it to the military . . . although after releasing it to the Central Command, he was sure they didn't hesitate in giving it to the military. "So," he started as he motioned towards a spot on the couch beside his own, before sitting down. "What can I do for you?" he asked sincerely.
