[b]Powers:at one point Guy did have the ability to change his body's shape and form it into blades but this power has recessed, Guy has a tremendous amount of willpower which helps back up his point about being the best Green Lantern. Guys body is also in peak physical condition, and last but not least Guy has a Green Lantern power ring giving him the potential to create anything at will.
[b]Weakness:Guy has a few weaknesses one is without his ring he can't do much of anything, Guys temper can also get the best of him causing him to make mistakes on the battle field. He is also limited by his willpower if he has no will at all in a fight he will lose. Lastly if he becomes fearful of anything the yellow impurity will begin to have effect on his ring, also if Guy even has a thought of using lethal force his ring will shut off.
[b]Brief History: Guy was born in Baltimore, He grew up in a broken home his dad was an alcoholic and an abusive Father to Guy. When Guy was in school he did his best to win his fathers approval of him, but Guy would always be in his oder brothers shadow who to his father could do no wrong. By Guys teenage years he realized that he could do nothing to be accepted in his fathers eyes, this caused him to become a juvenile delinquent. Eventually Guy was straightened out by his older brother getting him out of his downward spiral, This constant push caused Guy to go to College earning his Bachelors in education and physiology. After college he became a social welfare worker for prisoners and inmates, Guy abandoned this with a fear it would bring out his more aggressive nature. Guy then became a teacher for disabled students. After the alien Abin sur crashed on earth he would die soon so he had to find a replacement for the Ring, this choice was between Hal Jordon and Guy Gardner. Abin Sur picked Hal making Guy the back up lantern for Sector 2814. During the crisis though Guy had been given his chance to become a Green Lantern when the Oans split into two factions, one faction wanted to emulate their former brethren the controllers(this was the group that chose Guy). Guy was given a ring not tied to the central power battery, he was also given a mission to find the most ruthless criminals to form a strike against the Anti monitor. Guy eventually lost his ring to Hal after a gruding fight, Soon after Hal turned into parallax destroying the Crops. Guy lead a team to th home of Oa to find out what happened, leading them into a battle with parallax that destroyed Guys ring. Soon after these events Guy, kyle and John helped Hal fight the parallax defeating it and causing the Corps to be reborn soon after.
[b]Sample RP:Flying in space Guy was doing his normal Rutine...patrol, this was his job as the Green Lantern of sector 2814. "Not much activity today" Guy thought to himself.
"Honor Lantern Guy Gardner" a voice came from Guys ring, Guy looked doen seeing the face of an alien.
"oh god what does Saalak want now", "This is Guy reporting"
"it seems theres not much activity in yoursector we need u to come back to Oa" Saalak replied
"Ok i'm on my way Guy out", Guy began his way back to oa when he suddenly felt a hard pain across his face. Being blindsided Guy flew until he his some kind of space junk. Regaining his posture Guy looked forward seeing an alien in a yellow suit much like the corps, a yellow blast flew from the aliens hand as Guy swiftly dodged the blast. "I don't know who you are but you picked the wrong guy to mess with. Flying forward Guy Tackles the alien Raising his fist creating a club out of his ring knocking the alien in his temple. Flying towards him more Guy creates a mitten to catch him, then Trowing him into a space rock. The alien now knocked out, Guy looks at him and Calls for Saalak.
