Alright folks, so here's the deal...
The server that our website uses crashed, as I'm sure many of you noticed. The website is now working again. However, when the server crashed, it lost the username and passwords for some of the people who edit the site, I'm one of them. Therefore, we now have a website, but are unable to update, and edit it. The problem is being fixed however, and it's just a matter of time. I fear that due to this massive explosion of shit that just happened all at once, some of you are doubting this e-feds future. I assure you, the Internet Wrestling Connection is NOT dead, and in the foreseeable future, I do NOT see myself closing it. However, I completely understand that some of you, especially the guys who are new and weren't even booked on the first card because you joined afterwards, are no longer feeling like the IWC is someplace you want to be. It's understandable with all that's gone down, but for me, it sucks. Which is why I'm asking that anyone that wishes to remain with the IWC, perhaps run a card or two directly off of the board until the website is fully fixed, reply to this message telling me you're doing so. Of course, I'm not going to automatically assume those that don't reply are leaving, it'll just be nice for me to get a heads up. On the subject of events, right before the website crashed, we had about five new signings. Bringing our total amount of talent to 13. Personally, I feel the more people involved, the more fun things will be. Therefore, I'm considering canceling the previous card of Fusion, and once things get a bit more settled, booking a new card. We'll still do the tournament, just more people will be included, wrestlers will be better matched up, and everyone will have the same amount of time to rp. Finally, I've decided to stick with the current website design, albeit a few tweaks here and there. Anyway, that's it! And I'm sorry for all of the confusion and pain in the ass stuff that you members have had to deal with! -Dave (Your Fed Head) |

I'm here, cause I have a feeling this will be my final e-fed ever (or, I'll go on another 5 year hiatus after I leave this one, hah!)

It's a bit of a strain for all this going on, surely. Especially with it being around the time of the first card, even though it was a small card.
I'll stick around, and hope to see it grow in a short matter of time. The Fusion card, however, would be solely up to you. It seems the results got lost in the shuffle of you trying to do several things at once, and then with this happening probably moreso. I am glad the current website design is staying. I was a bit tiffed at this being the reason for the results being late. Nothing personal, of course, but as a federation trying to push itself up off the ground..the website should be secondary to the results. It's a drastic must to make the heart of the federation before worrying about building the body around it. I myself would've been fine with a white screen and blue links in a simple list, as long as the fed is trying to be built from the ground up. I understand the issue with wanting something easier to access and update, but at the same time know the results and the interaction between the characters really needs to come first at this early a stage. Anyhow, enough rambling.. Yes, I'd like to see it keep going. Glad to know some new people have joined, and hope they decide to stay around after bit of trouble we ran into. |

I should also say... I understand, but, am not completely keen on the ditching of the first Fusion. I do understand, from a "talent" point of view.. but, then I wasted an awesome intro promo (ok, mediocre?) for nothing!

Same with Xander here. Since I see no point "re-using" those lines, they were a complete waste. And then we would have to think how to "re-do" our starts..
For my view, keep the card, and move on. |

i agree with xander and wild thing. to me, what's done is done and i think we should move on. besides it can provide a good storyline for those of us who missed out.

If it is a problem of any sort... how about this.
The second Fusion card, have another tourney for the newer guys. It could be first rounds over two cards. Or, as Eric said, it also could give fuel to those who came after to "complain" so to speak, about not getting the chance. |
