Just thought I give the heads up encase no one knew. I didn't realise or know when this came through until I decided to look through my account.

You get 50 stars after a short survey. I just got 1000 from doing them. tongue.gif

Go to my account and then games and systems. Scroll down to whatever VC games etc you have on your account and you should see it.

Also Nintendo seem to be doing a post play surveys? I got another 50 stars for Professor Layton and Pandora's box. Those who have registered it, it might be worth checking out.

So yeah 1050 stars in one night without paying for anything too recently.
Time to get that red pikmin... tongue.gif

I have 3635 stars and hence can't afford anything worthwhile.

I apparently have 3485 stars due to expire at the end of November 2009.

You might as well get something. Something useful like the notepad? Or try and get the 200+ more for the Mario CD and sell it if you aren't bothered.
Expiry sucks, how do they expect us to reach 30000 (for the DS) in a short space of time?

Yeah I was looking at the Nintendo CD case just for the sake of getting something. I don't listen to music and don't have any CDs of my own, but it's free and will make money on Ebay even if not very much. Every little helps. smile.gif

Does anyone know if stars/points are region-locked? I've got my eye on the Wii on Lockerz but it'll be an American Wii.

Stars are region-locked, but I don't think points are...

Thanks a lot for the heads up Liberty!!! smile.gif Just earnt 250 stars. Need more, I must have that god damn Pikmin.

Unfortunately back when NoE used to suck more than it does now I tried registering loads of products at once and it fudged up and didn't actually give me my stars for a bunch of games. Can't register them again either. Might send them an email, and get no response.

i worked it out that if you get every single stars from all the DS and Wii games/consoles, nearly all at once due to expiry, you pretty much can get over 30000 Stars.
Of course if you have that much money, you would probably just hunt one down and buy it.

How many more stars do you need megamike?

Well I've ordered the CD case. There's nothing else which takes my fancy, but I'll probably sell it on eBay anyway.

They say to allow up to 8 weeks for delivery ohmy.gif

"ALOT" is not a word. "A LOT" is two words.

I had 2060 stars expiring end on Nov, so just ordered the Red Pikmin. The best solution with stars would be to register only the ones needed all at once- keep all the slips safe until the desired quantity is reached in order to avoid expiration. 'Tis a shame though, I really want that Giratina DS Lite...

Whaaat?! That's one of the most overpriced item in the catalogue right now! If you were just buying something to sell on eBay you should have gone with either the Pikmin toy or the Baten Kaitos CD. You could have sent me the Pikmin toy sad.gif

I know it's overpriced, but I'm going to be losing those points anyway at the end of November, and I can't see there being a decent update before then which includes anything I'll be able to afford.

Bigger than I thought it was. I always assumed that anything you get from the catalogue was small, like those CD compilations being the widest thing on there! Except the DSi obviously.

I can get hold of a spare layton and pandora's box slip if you don't have that?
I can't promise though.

My laptop died last Thursday. %3DP.gif
I'll try and sort something out in the next day or two. Its my mum's code but she doesn't use the site and I have my own copy. I'll ask if she has it around somewhere.
