anyways since then a lot has been announced, the pokewalker seems to have quite a lot going for it with the special pikachu forest event. But there are no details for it yet.
Kanto has finally been confirmed with some clips of the magnet train.
There are lots of mini games in this one, I'm worried that they are putting too much memory onto these and not to restoring Kanto...

Oh and the ability to have ANY pokemon following behind you which is pretty cool.
Even though I don't want to use it, I'll keep a bulbasaur as the first on my team just so it can follow me round

I really hope we get the pokéwalker over here. I really don't want it to be yet another of those things that Japan gets but we miss out on. I need it to raise some of my Pokémon! My Dusknoir and Umbreon are a b*tch to raise against trainers and would take forever in the day care centre.

I don't trust the day care personally, they teach it dodgy moves after I built up my move set :/

I'm hoping you have more control with this pedometer. But yeah, as far as I'm aware this is for all regions. Mostly because there are events revealed that incorporate it.

I'd be more pleased if we don't really. As it means it's not a necessity and hence I can feel alright about pirating . I'd import from the USA anyway though...

It's not a necessity anyway. That much is obvious. It's just a handy added extra, used for other stuff. I doubt they'd make it impossible to play the game without it. That'd be stupid.

Groudon is in Soul Silver whilst Kyogre is in Heart Gold. This is bad because I want Heart gold but I needed Groudon

Apparently there were a lot of people who were convinced Kanto wouldn't be in it. Which wouldn't make much sense really, as these are remakes, and Kanto was a relatively large part of the previous game. Wonder if Cinnabar will be erupted...

Because we share our economic zone with a bunch of ingrates who don't have the decency to speak the same language as us . The UK IS still the biggest Euro market though. Despite what a report out yesterday morning says. As the report was found to be false .

What's irritating though is that it's being launched at the same time here as the USA. Eh, I'll import anyway, it's cheaper ...

Fake Coro-Coro scans had a map of Hoenn with a battle with Ruby on Sky Pillar.That'd be HORRIBLE.I'm not sure if I want to ever go to Hoenn on a new game >.<
Anyways, I was talking to people on a forum and we got talking about Random Wifi Battles in HG/SS.I personally believe it'd be crap.Knowing Nintendo are much to lazy to make teirs, it'd be horrible.Look how utterly crap PBR's wifi is.6 out of ten are all Ubers, 3 out of ten don't know what EVs are, and that one out of ten might know what he's doing.
Plus all you can do with 3 pokemon is Mix Wall, Mix Sweep, whatever.

Tiers are an entirely fan-created construct. As is the entire Pokémon metagame. Nintendo didn't intend for it to be discovered really. Or at least not to the degree it was. It's only even with reverse-engineering we've been able to get IVs and such...

They could atleast ban ubers.Like in the Battle Frontier.

Uber is a fan-created term though. People looked through the stats and decided upon a cutoff point for tiers. And as we all know, Nintendo LOVE their fans ...

Ahh but, the Battle Frontier had a "Ban list" of pokemon we consider ubers.Even had Wynaut/Wobbefet.Infact I'm sure Shoddy Battles Uber list is more or less the same excluding Garchomp, but we won't get into that.
So a simple Banlist of Pokemon that are obviously much to strong wouldn't be bad.In a dream world there would be updates for that list, but it's Nintendo.Plus I doubt they could do that on the DS.Possible for the Wii I believe.

Frankly there is too much.I doubt it's gonna live up to everyones expectations.Sure everyone was like "OMG!Pokemon Following you?Maybe Nintendo will really treat their fans " but c'mon, I doubt it'll be as super-special-awesome as your(Well not HS I guess xD) making it out to be.

merging this, but I'll say Mark, the reason why we are all excited is that it's a remake of one of the better childhood memories that most of us share
It's not just selling a game, its essentially selling nostalgia.

Nostalgia in a game that'll look and feel quite different?I guess there will be some.
And I can understand YOUR reasons to be hyped, but some of the people completely over expecting it will surely be disapointed.
