That game was insanely over-hyped.

And it did not live up to expectations at all.

Speaking of which I haven't touched my Wii in about year or so, do many of you guys still play it?

I haven't touched my Wii since I bought Lego Indiana Jones a year ago or so tongue.gif Or was it when Brawl came out...can't remember, I left it at home for the family and brought the 360 to uni with me smile.gif

And yeah GoW was not worth the amount of build up it recieved. Much like any of the Halo games tbh. The difference being I can stand to play GoW tongue.gif

I often ask myself the same question. Why DID I spend £75 on a game I never play?...

o__o

If you're on about Brawl Darkshine, I agree. That's because it couldn't live up the expectations because they were so ridiculously high and it didn't have any of the unintentional techs that the Melee obsessives loved. It totally lived up to my expectation though, by far my most played game on Wii.

Yeah, I guess that was kinda our faults for hyping it up so much. I remember getting up first thing in the morning everyday to check for updates on that website.

I might just sell my Wii actually. Not getting any use out of it, it's just next to my TV gathering copious amounts of dust.

Twilight Princess, purely because I play Twilight Princess once every year at around November/December time. I started this year as a form of procrastination. Started on Friday but not played since yesterday, currently about to get the Zora armour.

tbh, GoW 1 (not 2, god no) had one of my most favourite onlines ever. Sure, it's one of those you had to be skilled and had to be having a good day of playing to be good at, but other than that it was fairly challenging, much like Halo where getting the Power Weapons = win, but nearer the end of its lifetime when only pretty much Godmode players played (Sniping Godmode, for example. x3) that people were able to learn how to dodge and avoid these, but also be win with it.
There was also all the glitches, but we lived with that and eventually found ways to rid of the glitching scourge.

Campaign was meh, still better than second.

I still haven't bought GoW 2, played a bit of it with my mate when it first came out, but haven't since. The problem with GoW online is the people who are arses when friendly fire is turned on and basically just try and kill their team mates...whatever happened to playing a game properly? Complete a-holes the lot of them. Really put me off playing that game online, I used to like it. Now I just play CoD online, I'm not bad at it, but there are people better at it than me for sure. Also people who use riot shields online are just retarded, or maybe it's because I have good aim and shoot them in the feet quite easily, or just out flank them and shoot or stab them from behind. Either way they generally suck.

Therefore I just sat down and did some solid gaming, no idea how long I spent but it was a while, just finished the second scarecrow level, the one in the mansion. Now headed over to the gardens.

You should've played ranked gears and not player matches.
And Gears 2 was a failure.

MW2 online sounds bad, and from what I've seen, the UI and it all just looks horrid. Is it actually any good?

FF12. Just grinding for LP as i am seriously just getting the hell beaten out of me.
I mean i have been going through the game with pretty much the first armour all the characters come equipped with and their weapon they come with.

Seriously shouldnt have just spent all the LP on on magic, accespries and skills etc.

Whatever happened to GEars 3? GoW was supposed to be a trilogy.

Gears 3 isn't out yet, it's still in production.

@Josh: I looked for ranked matches and they were all in execution, I just wanted to play Warzone as I hadn't played GoW1 in over a year so needed to get used to it again smile.gif
Modern Warfare 2 online is actually quite good. It looks daunting at first because it's changed so much. But the customisability and range of new stuff just makes it better than previous online CoD. You're not just stuck with the same small range of weapons, you can actually play with some tactics in your weapon choice. And you're not set with 3 different kill streak perks, you get a really good range of stuff. I do really like it smile.gif Just gotta get used to the maps now lol

Ah right, cool. Is sniper still as viable? Became epic with reflexes back in 4, around the time CoD 5 beta was out, my peak :3. Jump/Dodge sniping over CoD 2 LAN though...nothing beats that <3

If you wanted to get used to it, why not execution? Warzone and execution are the same, although with warzone you can get killed from other side of map while downed, in execution, you cannot. Although more pro's did play exe.

Yeah sniper has been made better I think. You can get good attachments for it too and still keep the standard scope smile.gif

I dunno, I just never liked the idea of execution really. The game always bored me, and warzone is just simple tongue.gif
