So those in GBT are reading Nicomachean Ethics now... and I'm really liking it.

So right now... I forgot what I wanted to discuss.... but has anyone else found anything interesting?

Hmm... I didn't like Aristotle that much. I learned about him in Philosophy class. I didn't really enjoy it all that much. I really liked the reading we did from Augustine, tho. That was cool.

So far I'm really liking Aristotle. In fact, over all I'm liking philosophy a lot more than i thought i would. Though this philosophy is a lot different than the hours-long discussions my brothers and uncles have every time we get together that either bore or confuse me after two minutes because they're issues like predestination that everyone's discussed over and over but nobody has an answer to. But Aristotle is good cuz his points are really straight forward, so you can spend some time thinking about the issues instead of just trying to make it through the weeks reading and still have some time to eat and sleep (of course, only if you *never* procrastinate and try and stuff it in the day or two before user posted image ) lol

Isn't Aristotle the guy who developed the Theory of Spontaneous generation?
