Poor Daran. tongue.gif

I, personally, like the new season lots. I've missed a few episodes because I get distracted, but there are lots of twists (*coughsilarbeingaliveisnotoneofthemcough*) and new characters, and developement of the original characters. It's graphic enough to be... cool? interesting? eek, adjective-less. But not so graphic that it's redundant and just annoying. There's big plots and little plots, and new bad guys and new secrets and other stuff like that. Good show. biggrin.gif

k, so... i watched this movie last night... it was very dark... and very disturbing...

's called 'Pan's Labyrinth'....

it was very well done... but VERY disturbing...

if you like mythology/fairy tales (the ORIGINAL ones... the DARK ones... not the disney version of them) and you don't mind gore, violence, horror, torture and death, then you'll enjoy it

and why do i have one person in particular in mind when i say that? probably because this person reminds me of myself in entertainment choices and stuff... so, yea... this person should know who i'm talking about... but if he doesn't, i'll say it anyway...

chi, you should watch this movie... i think you'd like it...

I know! The eyes in the hands... *shudders*

Eh... I recall it being very bloody... it's been a little while... I remember it being gory and I sort of cringed (gore usally doesn't bother me)... and he used these gadgets and stuff and I think the one lady came and saved the dude... argh, it's been too long >.<

It didn't show him being tortured. It just showed his hand with a cut through the webbing between the third and middle fingers that went back to his wrist.
And then the doctor came and killed him with a lethal injection.

Yes, my brother and I watched El Laberinto del Fauno. It was awesome and sad and really well done. And sad. Ophelia was soooo cute, it made me want to cry when she just got shot like that. And the Faun. Creepy. And cool.

It was pretty gory, not for kids. I probably shouldn't have let my brother watch it with me. But it was realistic. And it really wouldn't have been as good if it hadn't been realistic in its depiction of violence.

All in all it was a seriously great movie. I would recommend it to anyone old enough to watch strongly R rated movies (for violence and language) and able to handle gore.

That was an incredibly sad movie. And Ophelia was so darn cute (is the only word i can think of). It was tearjerking when she was just, kinda... shot.
