I keep forgetting to check here. Well, I'm not done yet, only about half through. This book is very much like the last two. "What's his namw" the boyfreind is interesting and still a puzzle. The date thing was weird (with Kist). It didn't make much sense. Also, she rescues that girl at the beginning and then she hasn't been in the story since.

Okay, finished. GREAT BOOK! I went out and bought a copy of all 3 books that are new and not worn down and I'm sending them out for autographs in the next few days lol.

MadEye, let me know when you finish. The date with Kist was prety cool, I thought. And you do get a bit more of Ceri later on, and I have a good hunch she's a key player in the long term story line that progresses book-to-book.

I finished it too. Rachel goes through men pretty fast. There was Nick, then she sort of seemed to fall for Trent, then Possibly David and I'm forgetting the police guy she seemed to like and now Kisten (which is a very wimpy name, even though he did the whole "Kung-Fu" number on the bunch who were tailing them).

There was a lot of "Kung-Fu" fighting in this book. Given that the explanations she she gives, and doesn't give, about "ever-after" and ley lines are confusing and incomplete, its hard to understand what will happen each time she uses a ley line.

The Newt character seemed odd. Suppossedly powerful, but seemed out of it when he/she/it talked.

I thought that Ceri might be the DNA provider for Trent, but I guess she's not old enough.

I swear in the book, I read somewhere something about millenium, which wasn't the word she used but it contained the word millenium in it. Like the elves practiced it to live forever or something. I originally thought Ceri may be one, but I don't think so now.

The DNA has to be 2000 years old and we think that Ceri is about 1000, but we're not sure. There's a possiblity that she can offer DNA to help Trent's cause. Just for your information Kim thinks that the next book will be out some time in June.

Yay!!!!! I cant wait for the next book. I really like Kim Harrison. I can't say I love her because Rachel is no Anita Blake. Anita Blake is just awesome. I really dont like Nick. He's a little rat. No pun intendid. He dabbles in stuff he doesn't understand and he screwed Rachel over with the demon mark. I get the feeling he's keeping something huge from her. Kisten is freakin awesome wub.gif heart.gif . I really can't explain why I like him. He's one of those characters that you just love to love. He's a badass and a hottie judging by description. Ivy is confusing to me. I mean I like her but she confuses me. She's the bigger puzzle to me than Nick. I've read all the books and she's still more of a mystery to me than Nick and Ceri combined.
