Well, I read this book a while ago and forgot I put it up here as a selection. I completly finished it a few months back. Oops. I'll leave this as the only checkpoint, so if you've finished the book, feel free to post here!

SPOILER WARNING: Since this is the only checkpoint, if you post you can say any opinion about anything, in as much detail as you'd like. Don't worry about keeping it spoiler free. This warning here is to let you read at your own risk. Anything from here on will contain spoilers.

Opinion: Loved it! MadEye told me she wasn't to big on the whole parashute sceen on the end, as it wasn't realistic to her. I could live with it since it was the only bad sceen.

The bad guy in the end surprised the hell out of me.

It was too bad about who had to die. Actually there was like two or three deaths I was dissapointed with.

Fantastic plot. Can't wait to read Da Vinci. Too bad I lost the book lol.

Wow. Coincidence. I'm reading it right now. I just happened to see it in a store so I picked it up.

So far I'm liking it even better than The Da Vinci Code.

I skipped your post, so as not to be spoiled.

There's a saying: people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Okay, how about... nobody should throw stones. Thats just crappy behavior. My policy is no stone throwing regardless of housing situation. There is one exception though: if your trapped in a glass house and you have a stone, then throw it. What are you an idiot? So really its only people in glass houses should throw stones, provided they are trapped in the glass house with the stones.... - Demetri Martin

I loved this book.
MUCH better than Da Vinci.
But I have to agree with Mad-Eye, as do most people I talk to. It was an incredible story until the very end. Then it bordered on absurd.
But the parachute scene aside- yes, I was disappointed at who the true villian was. I was even more disappointed at who the villian killed to get to that point.
But it still worked well.
And I liked the who cohesiveness with bringing the plot together and the adventure across Italy. Made me want to go to Italy!

Unfortunately, Da Vinci Code is extremely formulaic- just substitute different names and places into Angels and Demons and you get the Da Vinci Code.

But it's still good- and still a worthwhile read (but not a worthwhile see. God, Tom Hanks IS NOT Robert Langdon!)
