I have a cat named Bagheera. He's just a simple black cat.

I got him for my 13th birthday (I was hoping I would get a snake tongue.gif) when I lived in CA. We went right into Sacramento the day before my birthday. He had two brothers and a sister. All of them were black.

I was very surprised when I saw the kittens, and when I opened the cage, I picked up the first one that walked out. That one is Bagheera.
The couple taking care of him and his siblings found him feral at 4 weeks old. He was very calm for a while, and now, two years old, is biting like crazy. We removed his claws because he was clawing us up too (don't get mad, brits, I know it's illegal to declaw cats where you live, but laws are slightly different in America), and that calmed him down too.

But he still bites and is constantly picking on our oldest cat, Butterscotch. He used to be mean to Bianca, but she stood up to him and they hang out a lot. However, he's still mean to Butterscotch. Is there a way we can 'tame the beast'?

Hmm.. Try starting him out back when you first got him.. Keep him in a small room in a cage with food water and all neccessary items and slowly expand him out into the house. After a few days in the cage, let him stay in the room.. etc.. Maybe you can also try and bond with him more.. After all, cats are independent so play gentle for a while and let him be when he wants.. The two cats may not ever get along but thats just the way they are.
