Hey are we going to have a RPG on this site at some point, it would get people posting a lot more and I am sure it will get a few more people to join.

A Role-Playing Game takes a lot of management and needs someone experienced to set it up and keep it under control. If the forum had an RPG I feel it would detract from the rest of the forum. I didn’t have RPGing in mind when I created the forum and don’t want to see that happening. I don’t want the forum to just be turned into a big RPG. But if I found someone willing to manage the RPG properly and gave it a trial run for a month or whatever and the rest of the board didn’t get neglected I would consider it.
Personally I’ve never been into RPGs – they require a lot of dedication and seem complicated. Then again, I’ve never tried it, so what do I know? Discuss this. --------------------  |

^ yes that would be a good idea, I am just starting with RP myself and not with a Harry Potter but it is quite easy and fun and easy to catch on to, but in the end it is up to you

RP is extremely tough to mantain but a simplier idea would be to, maybe, write the story together instead. Like a roundhouse robin but a paragraph instead of a sentence each (and not idiotic of course =) ).

I'm still thinking about the RPG trial - it wouldn't be before the summer because I have exams and don't have enough time to dedicate to moderating an RPG. But possibly during the summer holidays, we'll have to see.
