A lot of people know the Sugar Quill and Phoenix Song, but does anyone know of a beta-reading archive that don't have such strict limitations?
Both SQ and PS only accept "canon" ships and their view on canon is very limited. Nice for those who want those kind of fics, but not for the more adventurous writers out there. I've been using The Quidditch Pitch, which is quite good, but I got a story rejected and their readership is mostly those after the NC-17 fics, so although there's space for my fics they don't really fit in with the others. I'm after a fanfiction site that has good beta-readers and will accept anything from the canon and ship point of view, with a more universal readership. Crossovers are also good. Any one know of one? Oh, and I'm 16, so no sites that are "18+ only". --------------------  |

Well, there's always LJ where you are sure to find at least 50 good HP communities for fanfiction. They are very open to OCC writing and non-canon. You can find fantastic BETA's there who are also very welcoming to anything controversial.
Also Mugglenet Fanfiction is excellent if you want a wide readership. They accept anything eccept glorification of criminal activity (i.e. rape, child abuse, etc.) They allow stories with such topics in them but you can't be uncaring or happy about them. You just have to be careful in your dealings with them really. However a note about MNFF- they are extremely strict with spelling, grammar, etc. They will reject you extremely easyily although they won't stop you from re-submitting until you get it right. They have a powerboard there as well were you can find any number of fantastic BETAs too. -------------------- 'I never gave up on you. Not really. I always hoped ...
