About you character:
~ The Basics
Name: Lily Rose Evans
Year/age: 17
House: The courage Lion of Gryffindor
Hair: Dark red locks.
Eye: emerald green
Skin tone: pale, but with a sort of sun kissed glow. She doesn’t get out much.
Height: 5”4
Weight: (Optional) Uh, she’s petite and doesn’t talk about her weight much.
Appearance overall:
Lily's dark red hair is rather thick, making it a pain to brush through everyone morning. Luckily she always put her hair in a braid before going to bed so it make her hair slightly wavy at the ends. The braid traps the hair and helps it not to knot as much. It had a small curl at the end of each strand, so it doesn't appear as long as it actually is. She and her mother are the only one with red hair, making it rather strange at home ever since her mother died in her fifth year adding to the drama of her year.
Lily's deep green eyes usually show her emotions well. Severus would often tease her about it because he was so good at Occlumancy and hiding his emotions. The two emerald gems could tell a lie from truth anytime, it's like they can piece the heart and mind in one glance. They were a great contrast to her red hair and pale skin so it's one of the first things you would notice physically when you meet here. When she is happy and enjoying herself, they'll light up like the fourth of July. When you get her ticked off? It's a cannon ready to explode and anyone in it's path are wishing they were dead.
Lily has had a birthmark her right shoulder in the shape of a lily, it’s the reason her mother named her Lily. Originally, Lily’s name had almost been Rose, but instead when they saw the mark on her shoulder they changed it to Lily and made Rose her middle name instead. She has never shown anyone the birthmark and makes sure that it’s always covered. It isn’t that she’s ashamed of it, in fact it was just instinct to do it more than anything.
Her petite body frame is usually hidden under her robes. Her short stature and almost model body, key word in that sentence is almost, she is sometimes stared at when she wears muggle attire. Of course when she says muggle attire she means her older sisters clothes that are about a size to small for her since her sister is practically a stick who's in love with a watermelon (Vernon).
The reason for the almost? Not many people notice some of the draw backs of her physical appearance, but there is many. The birthmark. The too thick eyebrows, made up by long lashes. In addition, she thought her butt was way too big. Most models have a flat bottom, she had a round and fat butt.
Lily rarely goes outside, and when she does it’s usually to study. It’s the reason for the skin kissed face. She can’t get a tan if she tried, and during the summer of her fourth year she had. Severus had said she resembled a lobster that summer so she gave up on ever trying to get a tan again. She hasn’t really told anyone about that but a few people do know. Though, she’s not exactly sure about how many.

Personality Overal:
Two things the people who have at least met Lily is that she is both open and stubborn. She doesn’t like to bottle up her feelings so she either tell someone or tries to remember to write in her diary. (Yes, she has attempted to have one so there is little paragraph in it about random stuff that’s personal)
She would move mountains just to finish things. It is proven that she will even stay up all night to finish her homework along with extra credit she is doing. A stubborn habbit she has, or well it could have something to do with pride, is that she hates having people see her cry.
Lily is not into Quidditch one bit. She would rather spend a day in the nice and warm library then outside watching some people on broomsticks flying around with balls. She didn’t see the point of all that wasted energy going into such a dumb sport.
She would never tell anyone, but she hated flying on a broom stick. The broomstick is so thin she is afraid she will just fall off. It's the real reason she hates Quidditch, she couldn't play it if her life depended on it.
Lily might not be in sport, but she is as competitive as anyone. In school she drives to be the best in every class, though she's not in /every/ class. She goes for the more challenging things and works hard so that she can prove she's worthy to be a witch. To prove that being a muggleborn doesn't mean your any less of a witch or wizard. It can be an upside and downside to Lily, because if she thinks she's slacking off any, she'll double up her studies and work harder so she can catch up and be the best she can be.
Lily has never and will never spend every waking hour studying. She has to sleep and her legs fall asleep after some time so she takes frequent walks and hangs out with her friends. She might be a bookworm, but she’s a social bookworm. She does spend most of her time studying, reading the interesting and new discoveries that’s been made, its all so fascinating and she would likely always be wrapped up in a book without her friends.
Lily is really creative. Thinking in ways that others usually wouldn't. She looks at things differently. Seeing the beauty in something small like a snowflake. Her reasoning never fails to astound a teacher. It's something she gets from her father.
The name 'Mudblood' drives her insane. She doesn't know how many times she's been called it, but she hasn't wanted to keep count. Before fifth year she could count on Severus to help her with potions and most of all through difficulties like being called that name. Even with his knowledge of how she felt about that name, he had called her 'the name' and now they were no longer friends, making the times she was called a…. Mudblood harder on her.
When you get through her stubbornness you would find that Lily is actually a really nice person. She has willing helped, well if you say told her friends what books to look in helping, with their homework. She is nice to the less fortunate. She is nice to mistreated creature. It is one of the better things about Lily.
Lily is very polite. Her parents had made sure they drilled manners into their children’s heads at a young age. It wasn’t the kind of cruel
you better be polite or your die and go to hell thing. Their parents love them, and it just wasn’t the way Mr. And Mrs. Evans behaved. Her parents had put some pressure on Lily before she went to Hogwarts by saying. “Remember Lily Flower. Your going to represent the Evans family there at this Hogwat. Remember your manners and do your best. No matter what happens there, just remember that we’re always be proud of you.” At the time Lily had just laughed and corrected her parents saying that the name of the wizard school was Hogwarts, not Hogwat.
James Potter, a nice guy with an attitude problem. His ego was about the same size as the Quidditch Pitch he loved so much. He lets that ego get in the way of that brain of his. She knew he was smart and could actually be a nice guy if he tried, she had seen it on rare occasions. Some of the unharmful pranks are actually funny, but when he goes and pulls a prank that hurts others that’s where she has a problem. He doesn’t care about the consequences, only that he has become more popular.

History Overall:
The shock that Severus had told her before she had even gotten her Hogwarts letter was short lived. Her thirst for knowledge had been started on that fateful day and she spent days asking Severus questions. Before she went to Diagon Alley she had thought she had known so much because of Severus, but she had been wrong. She hadn't known a tenth of what she could've. She had started to read the books and asking Severus questions on them as well, some were some he didn't know since he was about the same age as her.
When she was finally at Hogwarts, it was everything she had thought it would be like and so much more. The ceiling had been amazing, then the ghosts and paintings made it even more magical. Though she had been sorted into Gryffindor, Severus said that he still wanted to be friends with her. He hadn't known how much it had meant to her, in fact at first she hadn't either. But after a few years she had learned to trust Severus more than anyone else.
She had been transfixed, trying to see everything on the first day. She had dragged Severus this way and that, having him show her things. Her eyes had been aglow with joy as she marveled at every new thing she saw. It had seemed that anything could happen with magic. It had been one of the best days in Hogwarts she had ever had.
By her third year Lily was the best student in about all her classes. An annoying git called James Potter was slightly better at Transfiguration. She would study endlessly to try and beat him. Staying up for nights on end just to finish a book on the subject. The fact that a selfish, ignorant, arrogant boy could be better than her in anything driving her to study more than she ever had. How could he be better than her? He spent most of the time pranking poor Severus, with the help of Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew. Remus Lupin had seemed like the brain of the group, he had top marks like her. He didn't tease Severus, but then again he didn't stop them either. So he is just as guilty.
Fifth year had been the most traumatic for Lily. She lost a friend and her mother. Severus might have apologized, but it doesn't take away the hurt she felt when he had been hanging upside down, and she had been trying to stop James from embarrassing him. He just had to go /there/. Telling her she was a.... and saying not to help him. Well, then. She wasn't anymore. She was never going to help him again. She had almost gone to help him once, when Potter was doing something truly terrible, but had stopped herself. he told her not to help him. So no matter what she was going to honor that last command of her friend Severus.
Sixth year had been the most studious year she had ever had in Hogwarts so far. Sure, OWLS were over. But they still had NEWTS and she needed to be prepared. With her advanced classes, she learned things she would've never thought of in her wildest dreams. It was like learning about magic all over again, but this time without Severus. She competed in Potions with Severus, working her hardest to try and be the best, but no matter what she did. No matter how hard she tried, he was always ahead of her. Of course, she had been proud of him when he was the top of the class, but it was her competitive side coming out.
~The odds and ends
Anything else:
Roleplay Example: : A groan could be heard in the darkness of the girl's dormitory. If you were a certain red-headed Gryffindor you would hear a loud beeping right next to your hear. To Miss Lily Evans it felt like her eardrums were about to burst with the sound a small pale hand almost smacked the alarm off the red and gold covers of her nice and warm mattress. Pushing her petite body off the mattress using her mattress Lily looked at the clock. 5:00 am. It took her a minute to wake up before she finally got out of her warm bed.
The instant her body made contact with the cold air around her goosebumps spread over her skin. Heavy eyelids drooped over the hazed emerald eyes. Her thick dark red hair was behind her in a long and messy braid. A fragile hand went to the teenager's temple as she rubbed her pulse points to try and get rid of the ache in her now throbbing head. Her size six feet hit the floor and a shiver went up and down Lily's spine.
Sighing, the girl stood up and bet down to get her trunk and so she could change out of her green silk nightgown that she had worn to bed. Even the zipper on her suitcase was cold. "Why does everything have to be so bloody cold?" It was clear that Gryffindor's Princess certainly wasn't a morning person. Lily opened the suitcase and took out a green long sleeved silk shirt that she had gotten from a muggle friend on her birthday, a pair of blue jeans, some heeled black boots, and then a Gryffindor jacket that she had gotten from James at Christmas.
She brought all her clothing into the bathroom of her Head Girl Suit, one of the advantages of being Head Girl was you get your own bathroom, and you only have to share the downstairs with the Head Boy, who also happened to have a suit or so she was told.
At first when Lily had heard that a certain raven-haired boy was to be Head Boy, she thought that she would never make it past the first month, but she had grown used to his company and James had grown up during the summer as well. Though he still didn't leave Severus alone. All they had to do was get to know him and they would know that Severus was a nice, smart, funny, and in his own way, a bit handsome. You just have to get past his shyness and lack of trust.
Lily put her clothes on the small table in the bathroom and turned on the shower to a warm temperature before undressing and stepping into the warm haven. After a half hour of washing and cleaning her body, Lily turned the shower off and grabbed a towel to dry herself off. After Lily finished drying herself off, she slowly began to dress.
When she opened the door to step outside James was there, leaning against the wall looking directly at her smirking in his usual manner. "Now, where would you be going at five thirty in the morning, Miss Evans?" He looked her down. "You looked even better that I had thought in that jacket I gave you. You should wear it more often."
"Where I am going, Potter, is none of your business." Lily said starting for the door, her heels making a soft thud against the hard wood floor. James shrugged off the wall and put a hand on his shoulder. "You've been avoiding me, why?" Lily turned her head to the side so she could look him in the face. His face was now lost of his smirk and there was worry his lovely hazel eyes. She could get lost in each color of his eye. 'Wait. back to reality Lily,' her mind told her. "Whose to say I've been avoiding you Potter, maybe I realize I forgot to do something important and I have to go do it straight away?"
James raised an eyebrow and replied, "Every time you see me? You don't even look my way in class when I try talking to you."
"Look, I have had things on my mind. Important things. And now I have somewhere to be, so if you would kindly let me go on. Go back to bed; you have some really dark rings around your eyes." Lily pushed his rather large hand off her shoulder and didn't realize the comfort that she had gained with it on her till it was gone.
Sighing Lily walked the rest of the way to the door and opened it. She didn't look back, because no matter how much she tried to hide the fact she was sad at not telling him what was truly happening, but she was going to make it up to him.
His surprise party was going to be perfect. Lily swallowed. She had actually grown to care for James. How and when it started, she couldn't remember. James wasn't the same little lovesick boy from first year. He was a grown man now. Lily shook her head to clear it. No, he was not for her. He was going to grow up and marry some pure blood princess, not a know-it-all muggleborn like her. He simply had a crush on her, a crush on someone who he knew he could never have. His parents would never accept her; they would be like other pure blood parents and call her 'the name'.
Lily opened the Knight portrait and ran down the white marble stairs. If she really wanted the party to be perfect she would have to get it ready by ten, which meant streamer, balloons, cups, plate, plastic things, knife, and forks, along with magical things she was planning on doing. She quietly opened the door leading outside and stepped out, leading the door slowly slide back. Thankfully the door hadn't been locked. She ran out to the Womping Willow, and as Sirius had told her, she sent Expelliarmus to the root and the Womping Willow froze.
She quickly ran into the dark, damp, tunnel that James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter would go through once a month. As she traveled the tunnel only got darker till she could see nothing at all. Lily pulled out her wand and whispered, "Lumos." Her wand instantly lit, filling the part of the tunnel with light. With a smile Lily continued her journey. Through the tunnel till she saw a small speck of light coming up ahead. "Thank God, I thought I was lost in here." Her voice filled the silence she had been listening too for the past half hour underground. As she reached the surface she smiled and took a deep breathe of fresh air.
She looked at the Shrieking Shack. With the light of the rising sun it just looked eerie. She put her arms around herself, even though she wasn't cold. She walked into a completely torn up room. On the walls there were scratches. Blood strained the carpet. Some of that might be James' blood. The thought sent a chill down her spine. She then saw a staircase leading upstairs. She walked up and saw a clean white room. The decorations Sirius had brought here were in boxed next to a window that she could watch he sun rise in.
The colors of the sky were magical. A genuine smile not only made her lips move, but her emerald eyes shone with delight. Lily used her wand to start decorating, May (name optional) arrived about an hour and a half later. "Lily, how long have you been here?" Lily turned around in alarm.
"I've been here since six. Why?" May laughed.
" The place looks great. How much stuff did Sirius bring up here, anyway?" "There are still some things to be unloaded and put in their rightful places."
"Ok, where do I get started?" "Right now I'm charming the balloons to show fun memories that he's had. Sirius gave them to me to use. You can finishing making the table over there." May nodded and went over to do her job. After another hour they were finished. Lily sat down on a chair as the streamers by the window fell. Both May and Lily groaned in unison. They used their wand to lift up the streamers and right before they went could bind them to the wall, both girls fell to the ground in the most immense pain they had ever felt.
Chuckling could be heard, but it seemed distant to Lily. "The filthy mudblood is on the ground where she deserves, along with the blood traitor." Lily tried to open her eyes, but with the curse still on them it was taking all her energy not to scream out in pain. Before unconsciousness took both girls the curse was lifted. Both bodies still shook with the after affect the curse had on them. Around them tearing could be heard. No not the decorations!
Lily tried to get up to stop them only to get kicked I the ribs. "Stay down Mudblood." That Name! She hated it. She hated its just proof that she could never do any real difference in the world thanks to her blood. Tears went down Lily face as she finally opened her eyes. About five men in black capes and white masks were walking around. Why would Death Eaters be here? It was just a party? "Just a party? I think not mudblood. The Dark Lord knows about the group you were starting to form against him. This is just a celebration to that cause. Your lucky that we were given strict orders not to kill you."
Lily aimed her wand at the Death Eater that had spoken and said, "Sectumsempra," the spell that she had seen Severus write down in his book last year. The Death Eater screamed as blood gushed out of him. His hands were bloodied and she could see quarts of blood spilling out from various parts of his body. It was ghastly. After a minute of the other Death Eaters healing him the Death Eater stood up and faced Lily.
"Evans. You will be paying for that." He raised his wand and cursed her again with the Cruciatus Curse. This time is was too much for Lily and she screamed till her voice went hoarse. She writhed around and the pain tore her inside apart. Little needles stabbed her skin. Her head pounded. Finally the curse was lifted once more and both of them were beaten and told it was a sign of anyone who dared cross The Dark Lord. They're only hope of survival was if someone arrived quickly.
–This is part of a fan fiction I might right. It used to be a intro but I changed it and I’m working on getting my story up. There is a chapter before this.</span>
