He continued walking, forcing himself to stop thinking about it and calm down, biting the inside of his cheek so hard he drew blood, the metallic taste running through his mouth. He didn't blame her. He definitely didn't blame her.

He was quite certain that the only reason he was mad was because he was worried about her. He was still training to be a Healer, before he'd found her in the Library - began looking for her, rather - he'd been with Madame Pomfrey. What if she had contracted some sort of disease she didn't know about? What were those people asking from her? What was she willing to do for them? Worry, that's what it was. Nothing else. Not jealousy. Definitely not that. At least, he really really hoped not.

He listened to her, having stopped his walking when she said that the time they'd known each other played a part, trust. He bit down on his other cheek as she finished, and apologized.

He took a deep breath, a heavy one that cleaned any expression off his face as she looked away from him, before he closed the space between them and pulled her into a tight hug quickly. "I don't blame you and I'm not mad. Not really. I think." His broken speech showed emotion, more than his voice usually did. "I'm just worried, you know?" He frowned lightly, a short one, before an awkward little halfsmile came across his face as he let her go again.

"Come on, we'll go get some firewhiskey and then we'll talk more. We don't have to talk about it if you don't want to." There was a reason why, in Hufflepuff, and even a couple of other houses, people would come to him and ask for help.

"Friends worry about friends, it's what they do. If your a true friend, you can't help but worry when some great risk is involved. " Isabella mentally sighed in relief, the knowledge that he wasn't mad at her setting her very much at ease. She hugged him back, wrapping her arms around him and holding on tight, then gave him a wide smile. She was glad their still friends, even if perhaps that's all they would be. He certainly wouldn't want to date a girl nearly every guy in Hogwarts had slept with. Even in her own mind Issy wanted to make a face. She had imaged someone Slytherin to fit that description, but not her.

"Well, I suppose I could talk a little about it, to help your worries a bit." She said, speaking softly in the almost empty echoing corridor. Perhaps everything would go on the same after this. Her heart had slowly resumed it's natural rhythm, a strangely slow beat compared to a normal witch's heartbeat. "Also, do you have a plan about getting into Hogmeade?"

"Can I trust you?" Issy asked Alister, hoping with everything in her he wouldn't tell a soul. Her entire family's reputation could be diminished by this little secret. What would her father say if he found out? Issy looked up at Alister, her eyes pleading with him not to tell. Even if he wasn't mad at her, could he keep this big of a secret?

He listened to her tell him that his worry was normal, when he knew it was. He spent most of his time worrying about people, it was what he did. He was good at it. He was good at worrying about people and working to fix things for them, because sometimes, that was all people needed. Sometimes people didn't have anyone to worry about them.

He gave her a halfhearted smile when she said she could talk a little about it, but he almost didn't want to. He couldn't pretend it didn't exist though, that wouldn't work either. He rubbed his eyes with one hand quickly before he grinned asking how they'd get to Hogsmeade, and then the last question.

He frowned, before he sighed once more, shaking his head. "Isabella, you should know the answer to both of those. People come to me with problems all the time. I'd go as far to say 'with your life, you can trust me'." He said that with a light smile before he shook his head, shaking off the mood as he pulled out a piece of paper out of his pocket. "Now, for the other question."

He smirked lightly, uncrinkling the paper, which had Sirius Black's untidy scrawl about it. "A Marauder secret from Sirius Black. Passageway to Hogsemeade through Honeydukes."

Isabella smiled widely and hugged Alister again. So she could trust him. She felt the swell of relief overwhelm her as she pressed her face against his shirt. "Thank you so much Alister." She whispered to him. "You don't know how much this means to me. You really don't." She slowly let go of him, the smile still wide on her face as she looked up at him.

"Sirius Black gave that to you? What does it say? How do we get there?" Issy spoke softly, holding her bag closed tightly as she tried to lean over to read the note. If you were to think about it, there should be many secret passages out of the castle because the place had been built when a time for escape was a great possibility and you needed a way to get out of the castle if your defenses were falling. Of course, some of the passage ways may be crumbled and destroyed with a cave in or any number of possibilities.

He was a little surprised when she hugged him again, usually she had shied away from physical contact, but he didn't mind as he hugged her back, before she let go and he grinned at her as he handed the note over to Isabella.

alistar -
okay, go to the dada room, and it's behind the one-eyed witch
when you get there, say 'dissendium', and the old hag's hump opens up
congrats!
you owe me
- sirius

He grinned lightly, before he looked over at her. "See, I do in fact have connections. Come on, it's not that far away. I checked it out first to make sure it was actually there. No traps or pranks. Apparently they're not allowed to prank or something, I wasn't paying attention." Ali shook his head, before he started walking, his own bag still slung across his shoulder.

Isabella looked down at his note, reading twice just to be sure she got it correctly. Her hump? The One-Eyed Witches hump? It comes off? Silently, she wondered which of the Founders had created that passageway. This entire castle was designed by them so she had to assume it was one of them that created it. Of course, it could have been added afterward and carved out the earth afterward. There was no way of knowing, unless someone came up with a safe way to travel back in time without causing a disturbance in time.

Isabella followed Alister, still feeling a little awkward about their previous conversation. Walking, she held her back with both of her arms and pressed it against her chest, body language for very uncomfortable in one's surroundings. She had learned different body language signs on her own, just people watching when her studies were finally complete. It was very interesting to learn, and helps when your talking to a friend and they are trying to hide something from you, which brought up the question...."Alister, now that you know my secrets do I know all yours?"
