I remember the first version of the Sapphire Court. We were on proboards and the skin was rather awfully pathetic... but I was so proud because I had made it myself. Within the first week we already had 20 or so members and right off the bat I knew I had finally hit on something good. SC was my brainchild, my passion, and with the help of my SCers we moved from proboards to IF and quickly gained an almost cult following. We were the pioneers of our genre and there have been many knock-offs of us since our hey-day. In some circles, people still remember our name and reminiscence about the "good ol' days" when 50+ posts were being cranked out a day and our numbers were swelling up into the 200 range. Our community is still remembered as the friendliest group of RPers ever to come together in one place.

I know I am not alone when I say that I miss it something terrible. Who can forget Moni and her <2 or Alma and her muffins or Kenji and his comics... though I kinda hope people can forget my silliness in the podcasts XD SC was truly something special and we made it what it was together... and then you guys continued on the tradition without me. I've been having to restrain myself to keep from pestering Kai with "OMG WHAT HAPPENED?! TELL ME EVERYTHING!" though she's already had to put up with me squealing over the Castylls taking over and Richard becoming duke (Oh God the world's going to end on that one hahaha). SC was more than just a game... it was a community, it was alive and that makes me as proud as any mother watching her child toddle off to their first day of school.

Maybe one day SC can become what it was again... but that is not the purpose of this email. Kai helped me out immensely in my final days heading SC and I can never thank her enough for taking over after I left. She watched over my brainchild and helped me in ways that I can never express... and now it is my time to return the favor. Kai is the leader on this one and I merely in charge of the advertising (and playing a revived Sir William Rawlin for her revived Elspeth of course haha), but I truly hope some of you might give it a look and decide to join. Playing in an AU Tudor Era-based world just isn't the same without muffins... and <2.
