TO SET THINGS RIGHT
We all know that Marchioness Serenity Mason holds her position in Marcheford because of less than ethical situations. Having illegitimate children can make you a Duchess now? Some people in Adesia disagree!
This plot encompasses the four key words in Sapphire Court's plot; scandal, deceit, intrigue, and betrayal! It's also found a way to incorporate most of the characters on the site!

King's Chambers
Here are the chambers of the newly self-proclaimed King Ambrose, first king of Adesia. While far from the extravagance of Pemberton, there is an elegant beauty and general expensive air throughout the king's apartments. There is a receiving chamber where the king will see those that seek favors from him, along with more personal chambers reserved only for those close to his person.

Festival of Friendship
Welcome the Soleilian Court! The Neutral Lands have been decorated in Soleilian silver and light blue to celebrate their arrival and welcome Adesia's new guests. The court is hosted by Dynham, though Sapphire Palace has been set up to house them for the time being. Trade is booming now with exotic goods from the beautiful lands of Royaume du Soleil. Come gather and make new aquaintences!

Pemberton
Having long since been recognized for its extravagance in all things, Pemeberton’s duke has lent a more serious side to matters of the court. Still, the colorful festivals, parades through the streets, statues made entirely from gold decorating the corridors of Roseworth, fireworks displays spanning for hours... these all still occur with a slight but noticeable lack in the depth of such celebration. Pemberton remains a place for beauty and amazement despite these subtle decreases. With its rich fashions, a blend of intrigue and silken treasures, perhaps this is what best defines the lively duchy now. The Sherbourne/Duncan family rules here with their motto of “Loyalty, Honor, Courage.”

Marcheford
Marcheford is the capital of learning within Adesia. Their 'free education' policy makes education possible for commoners and nobles alike. The duchy of philosophers and scholars, the people of Marcheford are constantly searching for veritas, or truth, their ultimate quest. Their capital of Dinley sports the largest and most well-reputed academy across the land. Many nobles send their children here to learn. The Brighton family rules here with their motto of "Veritas - the ultimate quest."

Harleston
Out of all the duchies, Harleston is the most pious. Everyone attends mass every Sunday, alms are regularly given to the poor, charities are common... if one wants a career in the church, to Harleston they should come. The poor are very well cared for in this duchy, especially in the capital of Everbury where hand-outs of food and clothing are regularly given to the needy. The Castyll family rules here with their motto "For the greater good."

Dynham
Dynham is the smallest duchy in Adesia, as well as the newest. While King Ambrose ruled over the original five duchies, he took a liking to Lord Villon. So much so that he halved the size of the once neutral territory and gave it to Lord Villon as a gift, naming him Duke. François now had the richest trade development in Adesia at his disposal. He has retained his Duchy, even after the King's removal, though he is not looked highly upon. Still, good graces must be kept by all. Duke Villon rules here with the motto: "Voluptas Victoria Est." or "Pleasure is Victory."

The Viridian Sea
Surrounding the island of Adesia, the Viridian Sea stretches out in every direction as far as the eye can see. To the south lies the kingdoms of Soleil - the land of those kings that take on their feminine airs - and Luna - religious fanatics through and through - while to the southeast are the Ladron Islands, known for being the safe ground for ruffians of all walks of life.
