[Desmond Cael]

Desmond smiled at Jin as he told Desmond about bringing his kitten along with them. It would be Desmond, Jin, Shadow, and Snickers, all walking next to each other to try and find student's disobeying his rule of no student's allowed off campus at night. "Of course your cat may come, I don't mind sense Snickers will be joining us also." Desmond said as he brought the catnip to his mouth. Desmond Blew at the catnip and sent the smell traveling all throughout the castle.

It would be seconds until the cat would be at his ankles, purring wildly, and as Desmond had predicted, the cat came swirling into the room, dancing to his favorite smell. Desmond bent over and whispered in his ear. "You know what you get if you come with me on scouting business." Desmond said. The cat wildly ran toward the door and out of it. "Well we might as well go off to your dorm to get your kitten" Desmond said heading for the door. Desmond yelled out to Snickers to head for the Hufflepuff common room first before duties and the cat obeyed his command. The cat was very eager to get scouting business over with so that he may eat some cat nip.

"Yay! thank you, Sir!! Jin gave a low bow, "My cat's gonna love this!" Jin said exitingly, as he ran out of the room and headed towards the Hufflepuff common room

Desmond followed Jin out of the room, and into the corridor, noticing that the whole castle was empty, but it was something to do in the time before the kids arrive there. He might as well enjoy the time he had there alone, while it lasted because the year got really busy when there were thousands of students to attend to. Desmond barely got any sleep while the castle was full of disobedient children. Desmond would get help from the other teachers but his one time favorite thing to do all year was to teach the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. It was Desmond's specialty, while he, being a vampire and all, not to mention all the years he has lived on the world, really benefited him as the teacher for the job.

Desmond Skipped merrily down to the Hufflepuff common room, following Jin when he saw the portrait. "Well then, would you kindly say the password, my good friend" he said to the little first year boy. Desmond tapped on the portrait waiting for the boy to respond.
