Ok, here is a quick review of the Sniper+Scope lens combo

This combo is easy to use and provides extra damage for critical hit moves. It also makes critical hit moves easier to land.

You will need:

1. A pokemon with the special ability Sniper (which raises damage from critical hit moves)

2. The item scope lens equipped to your Pokemon (or razor claw)

3. A move on your Pokemon such as slash or night slash (a good pokemon to use this combo with is Drapion) (the big scorpion)

-- Use Drapion for this combo since it has a decent attack stat (if you Ev train)

-- Equip drapion with the move night slash. 1. it will do a decent amount of damage and it has 100% accuracy. 2. Since Drapion is a poison and dark type Pokemon it will receive same type attack bonus for night slash (otherwise known as STAB) 2. Equip Drapion with the scope lens or razor claw to raise critical hit ratio.


There you have it Drapion is super likely to get critical hits thanks to the high critical hit ratio of night slash and the scope lens or razor claw. Also, its ability sniper will make sure to deal a solid blow once critical hit is achieved.

I use this combo myself and I have one many battles just by luck of critical hit.

Bear in mind, however, that this combo does not make you land a critical hit every time you go to battle. It just makes it easier to get a critical hit. Also, it makes the critical hits that were once so rare, a lot easier to get. Plus, it even makes them more powerful!
