However, there are several blood filled bodies that refuse to sit back and allow some kind of monarchy to take over. With Soldiers patrolling the streets by day and night and Rebels working in secret, New York City doesn’t have time to sleep. Not when the city is at war and the players are trapped in a game of

Nickname(s): Ancient and Father, he won't respond to any other names besides his full name Age: 1321, appears to be in his late fifties Birthday: February 14th Nationality: Half British, Half Russian Sexuality: Straight Classification: Vampire Generation: Older Generation; AncientA P P E A R A N C E
Picture: PB Claim: Bill Nighy Height: 6’2” Eye Color: Slate Grey Hair Color: Light ash brown streaked with grey hairs Appearance: Long before the plague ran through his veins, Viktor was unquestionably one of the most attractive vampires of his time and age. Standing at about six feet and two inches with thick brown hair that contrasted against his alluring grey colored eyes and a charming smile; he never met a single woman, human or vampire, who refused to be bedded by him. His body slender and corded with thin and strong muscles fit for a fencer and a fighter with a intimidating aura about him. Now that the plague runs through his body, Viktor has lost his youthful look in exchange for a much older. Aging over thirty years, Viktor’s hair had thinned and its color lightened and was streaked with grey and white hairs. His body had thinned and wrinkles of old age had appeared on his face and his movements have slowed just a bit. However despite this change, Viktor had not lost the alluring look in his eyes or his charming smile, and his aura of intimidation has yet to falter. P E R S O N A L I T Y
Weaknesses: One of Viktor’s greatest weaknesses would be his children; though they are not truly related to him by blood, he sees them as his children. Viktor was never blessed with children before he was turned into a vampire and the alone made him quite unhappy. However when he bit and turned his first child, he was ecstatic to see that they looked up to him as though he was their father and he was more then happy to take up that role. Viktor watches over his children closely while trying not to be overly protective and smothering. Whenever they need him, Viktor is there for them in a heartbeat. He cares for his children, he loves them like they were his own. Constantly worrying about them, he feels that he would die if something fatal would happen to them. Strengths: One of Viktor’s greatest strengths would be the fact that he exercises loyalty more than any other vampire. From the very moment he was born, Viktor vaguely remembered being raised by his father to always remain loyal to his country, lord, and family and ever since then, Viktor has always been loyal to his country, lord, and family. However as his lord and blood family began to become deceased and his country lost with the time, Viktor switched his loyalties from his country, lord, and family to the new world he would forever live in. This man lives for the vampires; he is their shield and sword and will rise in defense for them and if necessary, he would gladly give his life. He feels that it is his duty to protect and serve his fellow vampires even if he is forced to act unmorally. Overall: Due to Viktor’s aged appearance, several humans and vampires who know nothing of his past have the tendency to think of him as a humble old man and in truth; he is but only to a certain extent. Long before he had even became a vampire, Viktor was a kind and collected man with what people considered a heart of gold. Always there to lend a needed hand and to defend the weak and needy; Viktor has always had a soft spot for his kind and the less fortunate humans. However in truth, Viktor is kind to them because he pities them and cannot help but show some compassion towards them. It is quite a difficult task to make Viktor lose his temper for this man has a extensive amount of patience and tolerance towards members of both races. He often finds them all naïve and inexperienced and he tells himself constantly that they do not know any better and with time, they will learn and become experienced. However this is only half of Viktor’s personality and those who know nothing of his past are only familiar with this side of his personality. Underneath the cool and exterior of Viktor’s personality is his ‘true’ self that has been shaped by hundreds of years and those who know of this side of his personality is both fortunate and unfortunate.
Viktor does not consider himself to be a kind man; in fact, he does not think of himself as kind at all. Instead, he considers himself to be a manipulative and intractable man who is naturally cruel to those around him. Often feeling emotionless and detached from those around him due to the many events that occurred in his long life; Viktor finds it quite difficult to show any public display of affection without feeling odd and out of place. Viktor was never the type to waste words and whenever he speaks, his words are clear and precise that practically begs someone to say something against him only so Viktor can kick them back to the ground. Though this man has an extensive amount of patience towards vampires and humans, it does not mean that Viktor will not lose his temper. When he does lose his temper, his cool and collected exterior vanishes completely and is replaced with a more heated one. His words themselves are cold and hurtful whether or not his voice displays his irritation, and his actions are far worst and is bound to leave some scars, mentally or physically.
It is damn well near impossible to see what kind of mood Viktor is in from afar. The smile on his face is known to always be deceiving and cunning, and his movements always appear to be unthreatening until the very last moment. Several vampires fear speaking to Viktor when they catch him being alone because they never know if he will smile at them kindly or snap their neck without a second thought. However, some manage to notice the small difference between Viktor’s moods when he speaks. When calm and not aggravated in anyway, Viktor’s words has a slightly softer tone with a hint of fondness when it comes to speaking to the few vampires he adores but when he is aggravated, Viktor’s words are much sharper with a hint of malice.
Habits/Quirks: • Randomly smiles despite any situation • Runs the back of his fingers against someone’s cheek when he shows affection • Often puts his middle and forefinger on the major vein in his neck and shows that he is thinking about how the plague will effect himP R E F E R E N C E

Instead, he started his life as a simple mortal being before history even began being written. He was born as the only son to a man who was born in modern day England named William Cromwell and to a woman who was born in modern day Russia named Dasha Maslov. Living in the countryside with a family who lived off of their crops, Viktor was raised as a farmer who looked after his family of seven. Excluding his mother and father, Viktor had four other siblings; all of them being girls. The eldest of the five was Aglaya, a young beauty who proved to be the most immature of the five. Coming up as the second eldest child with a four year difference in age was Viktor, who became the second man of the house. Six years after his birth, the twins were born: Iraina and Innya, who were both known for being little troublemakers and partners-in-crime. Nine years later, the youngest of the five was born: Nadeah, the little angel that took the hearts of all.
Due to the poor medical advancements of his time; it was not uncommon to see someone pass away at a very young age. For example: Nadeah, his youngest and most beloved sister, was stricken with a fever one day and passed away before the night even came and for that reason, William urged him to marry young and that Viktor did. When Viktor was nearing his twenties, he met a young girl named Anzhela from a neighboring farm and became completely smitten by her. Though she was six years younger then him, their love for each other blossomed and Viktor spent every free moment he had for three years trying to court her. Finally near the end of their third year together, Anzhela agreed to marry him under the condition that they would live on their own farm away from their families’ farm but close enough in case they needed help. Life was perfect for Viktor and Anzhela but they wanted more; they wanted a child.
Though they were happily married for quite sometime, it never occurred to them that either Viktor or Anzhela proved to be infertile. After several months of trying to get Anzhela pregnant, the couple was slowly becoming unhappy with every failed attempt. Anzhela was beginning to grow bitter and often lashed out at Viktor for no reason. She cursed God for not blessing her with a child and quickly fell into depression causing Viktor to worry and unintentionally follow her into depression. However, there was still some hope in his heart that one day he and his wife would be able to have a child but that hope would soon be crushed all because Viktor stopped on his way home to help a traveler.
There was a traveler passing through the village one night while Viktor was about to head back home to his village when the traveler collapsed near him and out of concern, Viktor went to him. The moment he knelt down besides the fallen man, he was seized by the throat and had his neck pierced by sharp fangs before he was drained of his life blood. Frightened and unsure what to do, Viktor struggled against his offender and cried out for help but it was all in vain. After the traveler finished feeding off of Viktor, he turned to leave but was stopped by Viktor’s feeble begging. He begged the man who was taking his life to help him, telling him that he had a wife who was growing sick and was drowning in her sorrow. Viktor begged him to help him live that it was not his time to go and that he still had a reason to live. Taking pity on Viktor, the man slit his wrist and fed his own blood to Viktor before leaving him. With some of his strength being renewed, he quickly made his way home, ignoring the way his body ached and his body becoming more sensitive to light as the sun began to rise.
The pain his body was going through was excruciating and the only time he felt relief was when the entered the total darkness of his home. Still writing in pain from the cracks in the walls that allowed sunlight to enter their home, Viktor hid underneath their bed as he cried out to Anzhela to help him. She did her best to help him though she had no idea what was happening and often cried as she listened to his agonized cries. He vomited up the contents of his stomach and could not keep down any food that Anzhela offered him; water burned his insides and left nothing more then a insatiable thirst. The sun no longer brought him joy, instead it gave him nothing more then misery and pain. For the entire day, Viktor hid pitifully underneath his bed; curled up in a ball in attempt to calm his thirst and hunger that no food could satisfy. It wouldn’t be until that night when the traveler who bit him appeared at his door with a wicked smirk on his face. After ‘explaining’ what was happening to him, Viktor soon learned that he would now live off of the blood of others. Distraught by the news and completely revolted, Viktor did not want to live such a lifestyle until his wife offered herself to satisfy his hunger.
After learning about the many painful truths about becoming a vampire, including not being able to have children, Viktor’s vampire Father left him but promised to return when Viktor no longer had anything that tied him to his blood family. Life became much more difficult for Viktor as he slowly grew accustomed to his new life. It was already hard enough for him to feed off of Anzhela but it was the fact that she began to hate him was what killed him the most. After a few months of becoming a vampire, Anzhela began to spite him and cursed him for all of her suffering and to hurt him even more; she accused him of being the reason of her unhappiness. Soon, Viktor was beginning to hate his wife and quickly grew tired of her constant bashing and soon he finally had the last straw. He killed her. After another argument and Anzhela threatening to kill herself, Viktor had the pleasure of ending her life for her and allowed him to live with the guilt for the rest of his life.
After fifty years, Viktor’s blood family had become deceased and the villagers avoided him like the plague after discovering what he was and like his father promised, the vampire who turned him had returned. Taking Viktor from the ‘cruel and incomprehensible’ world of the humans, he was quickly accepted into the growing clans of the vampires. Well taken care of, Viktor offered his services to the elders of the clan and did their bidding without question. Within a few hundred years, he became a respected and notable vampire among his race. Known for his unyielding personality and cruel tactics against both humans and vampires, several never dared to cross his path. Whatever the Elders commanded, Viktor was quick to carry it out. During this period of time, he was terribly lonely and still lived with the guilt of killing his wife however, he soon met another woman who was able to ease the pain in his heart. Just before the bubonic plague fell upon Europe, Viktor met a young English woman named Emily Rosenwell who managed to catch his eyes with her words alone. Despite their differences, the two were quite happy with each other and for the first time in years, Viktor felt alive. After a few years, the two were soon engaged though neither side approved of their coupling but to the humans’ and vampires’ their happiness would be short lived.
The plague descended upon Europe and killed thousands without mercy. At the first news, Viktor begged Emily to let him turn her into an immortal but to his horror, she said no and pushed him away whenever he tried to bite her. She reinsured him that the plague would never reach her and told him not to bestow such a heavy burden to her but unbeknownst to her, the plague was already running through her veins. It killed Viktor to watch Emily suffer but still, she begged him not to help her. She clutched at him as her strength faded with a small smile on her face and told him that it was God’s will that she died. Viktor said nothing about her words and only prayed that she fell into a coma before the pain settled in on her body, but sadly his prayers were not heard. She was in pain and Viktor could no longer stomach her cries and in desperation, he strangled her to death. With the quiet whispers of ‘I love you’ from her to him, something inside Viktor broke as he killed the second woman he truly loved and he openly voiced his sorrows for the second time in his life and began to hate God.
Viktor became inconsolable and drowned in his sorrow, he lost himself in the senseless slaughters ordered by the Elders and found joy as his personality took more of a insane turn. He indulged himself with the power he held as a vampire and took on a few slaves who suffered immensely under his ownership. The other vampires became afraid of Viktor, even the Elders were wary of him and did little to annoy him though they knew they had him complete and total loyalty. During his fit of sorrow, a unknown plague flew through the vampires that was carried by the slaves and humans they bit. Several vampires died by the plague and soon the race became alert and fearful of their slaves and humans. Viktor too, had become wary and often avoided feeding but to his horror, one of his slaves carried the plague. When he bit his slave to feed one night, he noticed a subtle change in taste that burned his tongue and quickly spat out the blood before he could swallow it. Thinking that he managed to escape the plague, Viktor dismissed the thought, not knowing that just a taste managed to get a small amount of the plague into him but not enough to kill him.
When the Elders ordered the vampires to sleep through the plague, they chose four of the oldest vampires, one of them being Viktor, and gave them the title of Ancient, who would rule over the race should the Elders die. Viktor was assigned by his fellow Ancients certain centuries where he would wake from his slumber and allow the Ancient before him to finally rest and watch over the vampires who refused to sleep. He woke from him slumber twice during and every time he woke, he took a child to his name. The first child he took was a young man named Anthony Madain whom he met in Russia before the famine hit. At first, Viktor was just his employer who offered him a job to help keep Anthony’s family sustained but soon became Anthony’s caretaker when his family was attacked and killed leaving Anthony and his dying sister. Viktor did his best to save Anthony’s sister for he had grown quite fond of the young man’s company and was unhappy to see Anthony in such a sad state. However, his sister’s wounds were too great and Viktor could not turn the girl into a immortal without having Anthony find out what he truly was but Viktor’s secret would be revealed when Anthony caught him feeding. Though Anthony shouted at him, Viktor harbored no ill will to him; thinking that Anthony was naïve and inexperienced. However to his surprised, Anthony asked to be turned and Viktor consented and turned him. After teaching Anthony how to live as a vampire, Viktor’s reign was drawing to a end and he left his child to allow the next Ancient to reign.
He slept for several centuries and when he woke again, Viktor traveled to London when he was informed of a juvenile vampire wrecking havoc in the city. Without much effort, he located the vampire who was attacking his newest victim. After a quick scrimmage that ended with Viktor using the vampire’s chest as a new sheath for his silver blade, he was ready to leave but stopped when the victim managed to grab onto his pants. Quietly telling him that the vampire that had just attacked her was not alone, she asked him to help her. After a moment of thought, Viktor calmly explained that he was just like the vampire that attacked her but still she asked him to help her. Again, he explained to her that she was dying and the only way he could help her was to turn her into a vampire as well. After she consented, Viktor slit his wrist and allowed her to feed off of him before taking her to his home and began teaching her how to live and discovered her name was Arianna Storm. Before it was his time to allow another Ancient to reign, he introduced her to her ‘brother’ Anthony and asked that they both look after each other while he slept. After making sure that the two were well sustained, Viktor ended his second reign and slept. However, his sleep was soon disturbed as he was woken long before he third reign should have begun to discover how the humans had evolved. Now discovering the city called ‘New York City’, Viktor now works so the vampires reign supreme. S A M P L E | QUOTE | Look at Drake's app..
