Can a `hit and run` be performed if you aniliate your combatants in the first round of combat (ie non-left), or does there have to be a choice of stay locked in combat for a second round / hit and run?

The rulebook is abit vague here!

and

Can a hit and run be performed when your assaulted?

Please take into account that the last time I played 40k was almost a year ago and I've read for rules for even longer than that but I beleive the answer is.

Hit and Run: You need to have a model "locked" in combat in order to use it and yes, you can use it when you are assaulted.

thank you! biggrin.gif
I fear your right about the locking thing, something that harlequins don`t particularly enjoy when you relise the choice of unit victim was incorrect and badly mismatched/timed:P

I have often obliterated units and been left standing in the open about to recieve an unprecedented amount of fire, were I `d hoped to be hiding back out of range! biggrin.gif

Sometimes harleys can really leave you breathless at their ruthless efficiency, (especially against some imperial guard / and similar )! rolleyes.gif biggrin.gif )

and other times......whats the point sad0116.gif
