Alright everybody, throw your two cents in! I want your favorite movies, your favorite TV shows, your favorite video games, your favorite books. List up to five of each (series count as one, and you can just say 'anything written by ____ author' for books), and if you must have an honorable mention, that too. And music! I almost forgot music. Let's see which ones we have in common!
Kher says, in no particular order:
Movies: Unleashed, starring Jet Li Where the Heart is, starring Natalie Portman (my favorite chick flick at least) The Fifth Element, starring Bruce Willis V for Vendetta, starring Natalie Portman A Knight's Tale, starring Heath Ledger (because I'll rewatch it anytime)
Honorable Mention: Equilibrium, starring Christian Bale
TV Shows: House, MD Scrubs Nip/Tuck Avatar Degrassi
Video Games: Kingdom Hearts -- all three Zelda -- OoT especially Gears of War Resident Evil 4 Halo
Books: A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin His Dark Materials series by Philip Pullman The Ender series by Orson Scott Card Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson The Harry Potter books

Songs: Hey Leonardo, by Blessid Union of Souls (danny and my song) Drive, by Incubus Inside Out, by Eve 6 Wish You Were Here, by Incubus (ringtone for my baby) anything Linkin Park, except most of the songs from the new album, because ew

I love how you have so many French-culture entertainment things listed, Shadyy x3 I feel very uncultured, but other than that -- haha. How different are French pop stations from American ones? Do you know?

Well, I do read more french then english, I sort of have to and I like it. I don't really listen to french pop stations very often, seeing as I live in Belgium it's more difficult to get them on the radio, or it would have to be on the internet. I do know that they play both english and french songs, it's about fifty-fifty. They want to reach out to the english culture, but they're still very(very very very) proud of their own culture. Same thing in italy. In Belgium, the locals aren't all that much, and most of them sing in english, because, let's face it, where are you going to get by singing in dutch XD.

Red vs Blue! That's hilarious! XD I don't really watch regularly, but my boyfriend being the gamer nut he is, I've seen one or two.
I've also read the Sword of Truth books. I really loved them at the beginning, and I still read them, but I don't like some of the later books as much and I no longer count them among my favorites.

Movies:
Brokeback Mountain - Nevermind that I love Jake Gyllenhaal, this movie made me laugh, cry, smile, think, and get extremely happy. The acting is wonderful, not just by Jake but by the entire talented cast, the plot is fantastic, and I just looove every bit of it. I WILL review this movie eventually because there is more to say about why I think it is brilliant. Perfume - I just watched this movie with Alicia several days ago and thought it was fantastic. I enjoyed how visually pleasing it was, and the lack of dialogue really added to the film. It was quite interesting and original. Stranger Than Fiction - I fell in love with this movie right away. I was scared at Will Ferrell's attempt to be serious since I was SO USED to seeing him be hilarious but he impressed me so much. There are so many great scenes in this film and I think the script is great. It was original, as well. South Park - Okay, so the South Park movie is really funny to me. I can quote it and it never gets old. It is just very entertaining!
TV Shows:
House - The characters really make the show amazing. I like how every week there is a new medical ~mystery~, kind've like in Law and Order where every new episode is a new case. I...just really dig this show. Really really really.
Two and a Half Men - Charlie Sheen. It's pretty funny too, even though nobody my age watches it.
Kyle XY - There is some bad acting; I am not oblivious to this. However, it is original and it has kept me hooked because of the whole mystery. Who is Kyle XY? I don't know but I want to find out why he doesn't have a bellybutton, damnit!
Wonder Showzen - I miss this show. It is hilariously rude and I love it. I don't even know if that makes sense. Check it out on youtube if you're curious. I hope you don't get offended easily.
Gilmore Girls - This show has quickly gotten my approval, even though I didn't really get obsessed with it until recently. I love every freaking episode, and I also love Alexis Bledel even though I think her acting is mediocre at best.
Boy Meets World - Oh, c'mon.
Video Games:
I enjoy video games but I'm not much of a gamer, honestly. Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros Melee are my faves. I used to play those games all the time and when SSBM came out, I got all the secret characters and got excited and I loooved being Kirby. I also played Mario Party (I think the fourth one?) and I played Donkey Kong 64 and that other Donkey Kong game but I forgot what it's called...that was such an awesome game, though. I remember being stumped by Luigi's Mansion...I never could figure that out.
Books:
I used to be a huge bookworm when I was younger. I was silent and read books all the time. I still read books now, but not as often. As much as I love literature, I have a hard time keeping track of authors and book titles. I can tell you all this...I love the Harry Potter books. Goblet of Fire and Deathly Hallows FTW. I've also enjoyed The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat. It's a book I had to read for AP Psychology and I was so fascinated by it.
Music:
Time for me to gush.
The Matches - My faaaaaavorite band. They impress me with everything they do. They create phenomenal music and their live show is fucking craaazy. Favorite songs of theirs are Sunburn vs. The Rhinovirus (check out the username, folks), Drive (all about the sex drive), My Soft and Deep (lyrics!), Audio Blood (different), Scratched Out (so very enjoyable), The Restless (sdlkfjsdaf just love it), and Chain Me Free (never gets old).
I am not going every other fantastic band I enjoy because that would take forever. I will talk about them another time, I'm sure. I will review their CDs and such.
Sorry Kher, I definitely went over five for TV shows.

Yay for Cruel Intentions. I just watched it with Rebs (rhinovirus) a few days ago because she'd never seen the whole thing. Yay Cox On Demand for free! Also, Meg Cabot is my guilty pleasure. =D
