Overall Forum Rules

1. No flaming, respect others. If you have a problem with certain people report it, don't start arguments.
2. No chatspeak. You want chatspeak, then go somewhere else.
3. Please don't play with the font color, unless allowed.
4. No thieving, this means peoples character data, images, signatures, avatars, etc. This is frowned upon and you will be banned immediately.
5. Keep the signatures/avatars clean, they do not have to be character based, but stay away from any profanity, drug, and violence type stuff.
6. Everything has it's place, any disagreements about the forum should be brought to the attention of an Admin or Mod.
7. Your username should be your main character name, first and Last, or if you have siblings you may use just the last name.
John Doe, Doe, John, Doe - GOOD
John R. Doe, ilikepens - BAD
All characters, including sub-characters, should be listed and have their character form linked to in the signature.
8. Do not ask for a position as staff, rather apply for it.
9. Do not open an OOC thread if you already see one like it.
10. Do not double post. Double posting only allowed in OOC topics two days after the last post.
11. It's understandable that some people's English isn't the best, but try to spell words correctly and use proper grammar.
12. Do not stretch the board, any images that might stretch the board will be removed or, linked to.
13. No spamming. That includes smiley parades, one word posts, chatspeak, irrelevant posts, and etc.

Character Creation and RP Rules

1. No Mary Sues, or God modding, for more on these go here
2. If posting OOC be sure to note it.
3. This is a PG13 forum. Light swearing, romantic actions, and violence are allowed. But no profanity, heavy swearing allowed.
4. This is an intermediate RP, use a formal style of rping.

5. Halflings are regarded as rare, If we find that we have too many, or your character does not seem suitable to be one we will ask you to change.
6. Not all people are magical, so the family of a character will not all be endowed with powers.
7. Post a suitable length when rping for an intermediate rp. That means no 1 liners.

In Character Rules

1. Technology is based around the industrial revolution.
2. There is no school uniform though students are expected to wear suitable clothing on school campus.
3. Family members are controlled by the member they are related too. They are semi NPC, so there is no need to make a profile for them.
4. Pets are allowed though nothing outrageous.
5. Males and females stay in respective dorms. Very few exemptions apply.
6. If a student is given Detention he should report to the class, if not then their parents will be contacted, or a form of punishment will be implemented.
