Gwendolyn Audette • Zoraida Arien The Queen Is Dead, and the war-weary Kingdom of Estellasia is sent into a panic, for the crowned Princess has been missing for months. Rumors have been flying that the young princess, who was to be Queen upon her marriage to Prince Simon, is dead. Like wildfire the news of the death of their Queen has spread, even to the very ears of the Enchantress of the North, Zoraida Arien. With delight the Witch Queen receives such news and prepares to leave the Kingdom of Whisperia in the hands of the young, rebellious Duke Tristan Alexander.
With word of the Enchantress’ plans to claim the throne of Estellasia as her own, Princess Gwendolyn cannot return to the castle. She is lead into hiding, deep into the Trolleywood forest, where many rebel factions are beginning to gather in protest to the new governing powers. There are still those who remain in the cities for fear of fierce punishment which is certain to come against anyone who defies the Enchantress.
As darkness spreads o’er the Kingdom of Estellasia, Princess Gwendolyn knows one thing, and one thing alone:
The Enchantress Must Die.
Gwendolyn will not sit by and allow the Enchantress to run the kingdom that is rightfully hers. A newfound boldness has taken over her and she has the intentions to start and head up a revolution against the Empress. Justice will be served, and Gwendolyn will not allow the killers of her mother to get by without punishments for their misdeeds.
The Enchantress is not one to go down without a fight, though. She has her people at the ready and will always strive to stay one step ahead of her enemies. The challenge thrills her, and oh, how exciting it would be to deliver Gwendolyn into the hands of death herself!
One thing is certain: bodies will fall.
