Just so we're all on the same page, we've compiled some Q's and A's. If you have a question about anything, scroll through here to make sure it hasn't been answered before! We will try to be as thorough as possible!
1. So, this is a fairytale. Does that mean it's light and fluffy? Yes, and NO! Yes, because there will obviously be some light parts. We do have Chivalrous Knights and True Love... but we also have rival Kingdoms and evil Enchantresses. It's a good mixture.
2. What kind of Characters are available? Click
here for a list of Needed Characters, specifically. In general, most of the characters here are humans - but living in a fairytale. If you have a question of what sort of character you would like to play, please don't hesitate to ask!
3. What are the two Countries focused on here? Estellasia is the main country we focus on. It was ruled by Queen Camilla Audette, who was killed in the war between Estellasia and Whisperia. The heir to the throne is her daughter, Gwendolyn Audette. Estellasia is bordered on the north by the Kingdom of Whisperia. Along the Southern border is the Estellasian Sea. To read more about Estellasia, please go here:
Whisperia is a mountainous Kingdom ruled by the Enchantress of the North, Zoraida Arien. Whisperia is a stark contrast to Estellasia. It is a dark, evil country, and Zoraida is an evil woman who has moved to the throne of Estellasia now that Queen Camilla is dead and Princess Gwendolyn is missing. More info on Whisperia is to come.
4. So is there magic? Yes, but very limited. In each Enchanted Kingdom, there is one Wizard/Witch born in 100 years, unless there has been an odd fluke (which happens maybe every 500 years). The wizard/witch is the only one in the country who can perform magic. They must learn from many books. Some wizards/witches never know that they have abilities until they have reached adulthood. There is an instructor, very old, in the hills of Estellasia who has devoted his life and the lives of his sons to instructing witches or wizards. Some from other kingdoms are sent to him to learn, although he himself is not magical. For more information on the different races, go here:
5. What is a difference between a mortal and enchanted? To better be able to differentiate between the inhabitants of Our World and the inhabitants of the Enchanted World, we have placed them in two categories. The Mortal is from our World, the Enchanted are from the Fairytale Lands. There's not much of a difference, except for a few who may use sorcery. It's basically just how we keep the two separated.
Enchanteds are not immortal.
6. What style of dress is worn here? The style of dress is mid- European Renaissance style. Check out these links for more information and examples:
