BATTLE RPG EXPERIENCE
Join the dawn patrol, save the sick and afflicted, run away from your clan, fall in love, break the warrior code, slaughter those in battle, create war, rise to the top, murder your clan mates, rule the forest. Do whatever it takes to be noticed.
Victorious RPG Forums is a community for intermediate/advanced warriors role-playing and discussion. Please only join if you consider yourself a relatively seasoned roleplayer, as we are not likely to keep you around if we find you hold us back!
SETTING & TIME
Victorious RPG takes place in the original forest where the clans abide in the first saga of the Warriors series. This means we are the original five clans: ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan, and StarClan. Only, we've added a twist. SkyClan is apart of the clans in the forest. During gatherings, five clans meet under the full moon, unlike the original series. We also have a set off board for the Tribe of Rushing Water, and our own clan made up of loners, rogues, and kittypets: LustClan.
The time the cats are in is not before or after the famous cats known in the Warriors series such as Firestar. Victorious RPG is in it's own time - meaning there never has and never will be a Firestar. We are just set in the same setting as the books in the first arc (plus SkyClan) - not the same time. So it's just like Warriors but with our own characters.
THE ROLE PLAY EXPERIENCE
Our role playing forums is a fun experience to interact with other members who love Warriors. You can create your own character plots, thus allowing you to write your own stories with your characters. You can have up to 10 cats in the clans, and an additional two kittypets, loners, or rogues.
We are an intermediate & advanced role play forum, so we encourage only the literate and well-ripe role players. It may sound harsh, but being an amateur here is unacceptable. We also have a specially made forum for improving RPG skills where intermediate members can become advanced and develop their characters into realistic personalities.
LITERACY LEVEL
Like said above, we are an intermediate/advanced role playing forum. Thus we like to see intermediate and advanced role playing posts. We expect all of our members to post at least two paragraphs (14-20 sentences) of role play if not more. Length is not too essential, but quality is. We'd prefer that you wrote a short post that was beautifully written instead of a long post that lacked grammar and creativity.
ACTIVITY LEVEL
We are not a dead RPG, but we're not insanely active either. None of our members post dozens of times an hour just to try and get the most posts. A handful of us come here every day and post here and there, but most of us come on every few days to role play our characters. There's usually a new role playing post somewhere every day. We are moderately active, and love to have new active members join us.
THE BATTLE EXPERIENCE
Victorious' specialty in Warriors RPG, is its battle experience. Unlike other RPGs, we allow your character to hurt whomever you please without permission. Although you can only cause minor to somewhat severe wounds, it is allows you to role play more realistically when in battle. It makes all characters vulnerable in battle, thus gary-sues and mary-sues are eliminated. Even the strongest cats can get damaged.
We are also more lenient when it comes to describing wounds. You can not post about organs spilling or extremely gory wounds, but you are allowed to describe blood, muscles, bones, and flesh to some extent. This can make battles truly horrific, which is why the forums are rated T for teens.
UNIQUE CLAN GOVERNMENTS
Unlike other forums, Victorious RPG has unique governments for all the clans. That means ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan, and SkyClan all have their own Warrior Code, additional positions, discrimination and bans, and their own clan characters that are different from the books. We don't have the stereotypes of ThunderClan being softy goody-two-shoes and ShadowClan being evil and cold-hearted. Every clan is different.
MAGIC AND GHOSTS
Yes, Victorious has magic but the RPG is not centered around the magic. Magic in Victorious is very very very minor, and only a small number of cats have the abilities. Some of the clans have banned magic, so it is even less common. Cats can only obtain magic through a sacrificial ritual, in which StarClan (or another heavenly clan) grants them magic if they are worthy. If so, the cat undergoes a severely painful trial, in which most die through the process of. If they survive, they can only use minimal amounts of their power, and overdoing it can cause fatigue, injury, and even death.
