Venom Orbit This is the space around Venom, from the edges of the planets atmosphere to the age-old wreckage and gas anomalies that stem from the Great War. New Corneria The fairly new capital of Venom, New Corneria is on the cutting edge of technology, but unfortunately, its leaders refuse to use it to help Katina in the battle against the rebels. It seems that the citizens of Venom have moved on from Corneria, both physically and mentally, and don't care if the rebels take control over Corneria for their own agenda. New Corneria is just like Corneria City once was: covered in office buildings, civilian apartments, houses, scientific research facilities, and of course, a spaceport. Its new leader not only leads New Corneria, but Venom as a whole. He lives in an enormous building at the heart of the city. The Conference Building [New Corneria City] The conference building was, two hundred and some odd years prior, an Andross military base. NCF and Rebel crews had swept in a few days prior to the Lylat Peace Conference and cleaned up the base for their use. New Corneria Library [New Corneria City] Located near the center of the city, the New Corneria Library is one of the largest compendiums of Lylat's knowledge in the entire system. While it is a library, its appearance is slightly different than that of regular libraries--it is highly advanced in that there are few "books" remaining in it, and most information and text has been placed on "datapads" which quite thin and small in size. One may turn the page with the touch of a button. Besides the shelves lining the walls off this large structure, there is a front desk where your average librarian resides there with a panel containing a catalogue of every "book" within. Venom Medical Center [New Corneria City] Venom Medical is one of the oldest buildings on Venom. It was built when New Corneria was still very premature, and has shown some wear and tear because if it. Techron Co. [New Corneria City]Techron is the name of a growing LLC company created, owned, and run by the rather infamous Gila Monster known only as G.C. A raver and hacker extraordinaire, it didn't take long for the 25 year old Venomnite to grow sick of the large-and-in-charge technology corporations- being able to set the prices at whatever they wished whenever they wished due to lack of strongly needed restriction laws because of the war. His solution was simple, in the end. He made his own company. By way of what is known to any hacker, mechanic, and techie worth his mother board, the Grid, he was able to get enough investors and donors in the course of two years to start up the prelimarnary shop. The Torchlight [New Corneria City] On the corner of DuLain Boulevard and Academy Lane, there is a restaurant. Not just any restaurant, though - it's lauded as one of the top establishments in the system, at this point, and it's hard to get a booking unless you call way in advance. The interior is very elegant, in a simplistic way. No fancy paintings, no chamber music, but it is still a fairly formal environment; everyone who works there wears a nice suit or dress for a reason. The real place to sit is on the roof, though, and these tables are the hardest to acquire. The entire roof is a seating area, as all the cooling is done either underground or out the side, and it is set with real, pitch-and-cloth torches providing the only light. Club TranceLab [New Corneria City] Club TranceLab is the club to go to in Venom when you're a teen or a young adult. Ravers, Techies, punks, metal heads. Just about everyone can find their niche here, and do. This is a place of lights, sounds, and party. Don't come if you can't handle it. Club TranceLab is also well known for the very well-maintained and up-to-date arcade attached to the club. New Corneria Park [New Corneria City] It's green here, covering the small hills and valleys. The many shades of soft grass are interrupted are by the cobblestone path that weaves in and out and around through the park, misted by the shade of the trees in the right light. Further to the north is a big fountain, where younger citizens toss coins in to make wishes, and an ice cream stand with all sorts of yummy things. A ways to the left of the fountain is the playground, equipped with slides and monkey bars and everything a small child's heart could desire. The Venomian Sea Once a toxic, acidic ocean that covered much of Venom, this large body of water is now much cleaner, and getting more so all the time. After it was neutralized in the conflict with the Anglars, new sea life began to appear, and now immigrants to Venom are beginning to explore the sea more and more.
