Inhabited Areas Barren and bitter lands scarce with diversity, the flat frozen lands of the north may intimidate larger animals, whose girth and diet limit them from survival here. But some smaller creatures and wandering nomads have been able to maintain life on the lands limited resources. Trees and larger flora cannot grow in such a climate, so only smaller bushes and mosses dot the landscape. The water supply is scarce, though slushy swamplands in the summertime and the immense amount of migrating birds and insects provides enough nourishment for the local fauna to get by. Small villages and portable dwellings may be the closest thing to home you find here. |
