Im reading the last two chapters of White Teeth which was on my course. it was ridiculously thick, but I managed to get most of it done by my seminar. I enjoyed it, all about race and culture in 70s-90s london. sounds dire but its funny.

Girlfriend in a coma! Love that book, though All families are psychotic is Coupland's best.

Down Under (Bill Bryson), Carpe Jugulum (Pratchett) and Memoirs of a Geisha (can't remember right now!). The first two I've read before, so they're just comfort reading in the bath etc. Memoirs of a Geisha is superb, if you haven't read it, you should! :D

To the lighthouse - EEEEEEW. had to read that last semester. fucking awful. I read abou 15 pages before I fell into a coma of boredom.

Prefered 'Touching From a Distance' though Mrs Curtis' account is, as expected, rather one sided.

I've read that book it's a much better read,i picked it up in the HMV sale a few months back for �3.99.I bought a load of other books as well i keep meaning to read but i never seem to find the time The Stone Roses and the Resurrection of British Pop by John Robb,Halleljah! by John Warburton and Shaun Ryder and Heavier Than Heaven the biography of Kurt Cobain by Charles R Cross which is supposed to be very good.These days i only ever seem to read music related books i very rarely stray into fiction.
