Hey. ^-^ I've seen a few newbies that were a little confuse when starting, so I decided to make this guide. I hope it will be useful! ^-^

Okay, first, the stats descriptions.

Power: Raises melee attacks and the max weight you can carry.
Speed: Raises your dodge, and a little of perfect dodge.
Stamina: Raises your defense and max HP.
Wisdom: Raises your spells attack power and max MP.
Accuracy: Raises range attacks and your chances to hit.
Luck: Raises your critical and perfect dodge.

Now for some confusing names, here's the description:

Stats X+Y: X is the stats your character have as base. Y is the added stats from an item or a gem.

Def: X+Y: X is the % reduced of the damage. Y is the amount removed from the damage done to you. Stamina raises Y.

MDef X+Y: Same as Def but for magics. Wisdom raises Y.

Evade X+Y: X is the chance to dodge an attack. Y is perfect dodge. If you do a perfect dodge (LUCKY!) you will dodge the attack ignoring the enemie's hit.

Critical: Cannot miss, ignores Stamina defense and does maximum damage.

Now that you know this, you can choose your stats. Since your main character becomes a Shinigami, you do not need Wisdom, so set your Power to 9.

Now you have 2 other branch to take care of: Accuracy/Stamina and Speed/Luck.
Here's how it works:
If you work with the Accuracy/Stamina branch. If you put 7 in your Accuracy, your Stamina will become 10 - Accuracy. Same goes for Speed/Luck branch.

Now, choose your stats properly. If you want a Critical-type of character, raise your Luck.

Now you have your character. Your first goal is to get your Soul Level to 10. To gain soul exps, kill monsters. I suggest you stay in the desert for a while, the weakest monsters are there.

First, equip your Butter Knife and Tunic.

Now, if you want to level up faster, you can either form a party or join another. The more members, the more exps you will get. There's a maximum of 5 party members per party and 3 units per party member.

Now, let's explain the units:
There's 2 kinds of units in Illybia (The 1st town):
Adventurer 1000 Gold and Adventurer 2000 Gold
The differences between them:
Adventurer 1000 Gold: Starts with 5 all stats.
Adventurer 2000 Gold: Starts with 9 all stats.

The more units in battle, the more exps. So I suggest you aim on getting 2 new units before equipments. To use them, press numpad 9, then click on "Edit Units" and then, "Add Unit". These new units can have a new class at Soul Level 10 also. In Illybia, they can become: Healer, Mage or Archer.

Once you achieve Soul Level 10 with your main character, you can go talk to Hitsugaya Toushirou in the house to the left. He will change your class to Shinigami, or Captain if you're Base Level 40 as Adventurer. Talk to him again to obtain a Soul Slayer. Now, equip you Soul Slayer.

You're now ready to leave the Newbie Island! Go at the bottom left of the island and leave the dock. Then find your way to Lynderia.

Have fun playing in the world of Soul Society! happy.gif

Soul Society Guide

Okay, little bits. First thing's first. You start off with a new character, able to allot status points. Power is your attack strength, speed is your turn and escape rate. Stamina is your defense and hit points, Wisdom is your Magic Attack and MP. Lastly you have Accuracy, which determines your hit rate, and luck, which raises your chance to evade and critical.

Seeing as how your main character will be a fighter-type, you need physical traits. And, I'm not going to lie, kiddos. Power, Speed, and Accuracy are really the only stats that matter. So, your best bet would be to put a 9 in all those, if possible. Now, as soon as you start, you'll be in a place called T1, and your class will be 'Adventurer'. There are five main places in this game, ranging from T1-T5. The 'T' stands for the word 'Town' (i.e Town 1-Town 4. Town 5 is Soul Society, or SS). As an Adventurer, you are NOT able to leave T1, and if someone does take you off that tiny bit of hell, it is punishable by ban. You can not, legally, leave this place. There are two ways to do so, however, it's not recommended (they are both bugs, and are considered cheating).

If you've read this far, you must be at least semi-interested, so I'll get to the game. There are two types of levels. Base, and Soul. Base gives you Status Points, which you use to increase your stats. Soul gives you Skill Points, with which you buy new skills (i.e new ways of smashing some Hollow). Now, you start off at level 1/1. There are two paths you may choose as an Adventurer, and that is Shinigami..or, the much stronger, Captain class. Shinigami is easy to achieve, and is nowhere near as strong as Captain. To become a Shinigami, you must reach Soul Level 10, and then go talk to Hitsugaya Toushirou in town. After that, you get your Soul Slayer (NOTE: Soul Slayer comes in Shikai form, so don't worry about 'unlocking' your Shikai. Von is secksy, you get it automatically.) Or, if you decided to take the road much more difficult, you can become a Captain. To become Captain, you must become Base 40 as an Adventurer on T1, which is quite the daunting task. (NOTE: Do NOT use any of the Status points you earn from your Base Levels if you are trying to become Captain. When you go Captain class, your stats all reset to 9, and you go back to Base level 1. However, if you saved your points, you get to keep them, therein making your Captain stronger.) And, for all of you who are wondering, by now, "What's so good about Captains?" Well, young'uns, the fact is, if you listened earlier...You start with better stats, technically, if you followed my instructions..AND, they get better skills. (And, people, you can NOT become a Captain if you've already made your character a Shinigami. Also, just because you are a Captain class does NOT mean you are the Captain of a Squad, okay? And, another thing..Just because someone is a Shinigami class does not mean they can't be Captain of a Squad. I'll go into explanation of that later.)

Shingami: Physical mainly. Requires Power, Speed, and Accuracy, mainly. (Whatever you do, DON'T learn the Sacrifice Skill, AT ALL! Get Sword Mastery, then Power Strike, then Power Ring, and take it from there. NO SACRIFICE. )

Captain: Stronger than Shinigami: Speed, Power, and Accuracy. (Sword Mastery (then Power Strike and Ring in turn), Spear is a waste of skill points. Also, do NOT get Sacrifice.)

But, we are getting ahead of ourselves just a tad. Now, if you get a higher-up to train you, they may say "You need to get units." Now, here's the SS Definition of a unit: "Priceless object that fights for you in battle and collects you more experience." Now, when you go to buy units, you have two choices, in shop. The 1,000 gold units..Or the 2,000 gold units. The 1k units start off with a 5 in all stats, whereas the 2,000 start with a 9. Now, usually, the person who told you to buy units will give you the gold to buy them. Always, always, always buy two of the 2k units. You name them, and pick their gender. Now, to add them! Make sure the 'Num Lock' option is off, and hit the '9' key on the Keypad. A new box should come up. Click 'Edit Units', then 'Add Units' in the box. You will have to do this twice, one for each unit. CONGRATULATIONS! You now have two battle (Love, in my case) slaves to help do your bidding. Notice, they both start off at Base 1/Soul 1 as an Adventurer. Could it possibly be? YES! Your units have their own classes to, which they can class up at Soul 10 (NOTE: Your units can not become Shinigami or Captain. Sorry, folks. Only able to choose Mage, Archer, and Priest on T1. However, if you abstain from the class up on T1, T2 provides two new classes for your units, which are Mercenary and Ninja.)

Mage: Offensive Magic. Requires Speed and Wisdom. (I recommend one, and make sure you get this mage 'Earth Spike Level 10', and then 'Earthquake Level 5'. Then, you should make sure you have the spell 'Shadow Haunt' maxed, as well. You need these for later on.. )

Priest: Protective/Supportive/Healing Magic. Requires Speed and Wisdom.( Good for warping, and are not so bad later on. Perhaps you should get one. )

Archer: Uses a bow. Requires Speed, and Accuracy. (I'm not extremely fond, but some people find them helpful. )

Mercenary: Phsyical fighter. Not too shabby. Requires Strength and Accuracy.
(Never had one. Hear they are good. Might want to invest at least a little in Speed.)

Ninja: Not good at all, from what I've heard. Don't waste your time. (Requires Stupidity. =D)

Now, then. You go on with your life in T1, choosing your class and such accordingly. After you have become a Shinigami or Captain, you are ready to leave T1 and go to T2! Go to the Southwestern part of T1 and go over the dock. You'll see yourself become a little boaty-boat. Now, go left for a little bit, and then north until you reach land. Sail around a little while, and you should find another dock next to a town. This is T2. Dock and walk into town. Congratulations, you have reached the Adolescent stage of Soul Society. You'll see all this green grass and everything, but that's unimportant. The main attribute of T2 is the entrance to The Caves. The Caves are what join the land of T2, and the Sacred Holy Land of T3, where you will get your Advanced Classes and where you will do most of your future leveling. But, wait! At the end of the cave is a hairy scary boss. Whatever shall we do?! Well, youngsters, you get a group of people who have NOT beaten boss, and have someone who knows the way take you to him. (Maze can be very confusing for some people.) Now, make sure everyone in the party is at least Base 40, and you have lots of Mages for units.

Now, I will refer to the earlier part of the guide, where I said make sure you get two certain spells. You guessed it! Those will help you defeat the boss! Now, once you start the boss, there will be 69 Hollows. One of them is SPECIAL! (Like most of the people on SS.) Have ALL of the mages use Earthquake until all of the Hollows are dead, except for the Special one. This is where you have all the mages use Shadow Haunt on him until he dies. Have other types of units just attack, except Healers. Have them heal whoever is needed and such. After you win, you can go on to T3!

You are now an Adult. Once you reach T3, you have the ability to get yourself, and your Units class advances! But, they have to be Soul Level 50! (No Base Level required! =D) Advanced classes reset your Soul to 1 and give you the ability to learn new types of skills. (For any Mages, I suggest having Fire Bolt maxed out, as well as Shadow Haunt. You shall soon know why.)

Shinigami --> Lieutenant (A stronger version of the weakling, with new skills.)

Captain --> Genius Captain (A stronger version of the strongling, with new skills. Create Clones and Energy Burst/Energy Release are a must.)

Mage --> Wizard (If you have Fire Bolt, then you must get Fire Ball and then Meteor Shower. Then, learn Shadow Ball, and then Shadow Mist. These are two of the best offensive skills in the game. Must have Fire Bolt and Shadow Haunt Mastered)

Healer --> Priest (Make sure you have Light Mist and Group Heal. This gives you a skill called Protection of the Gods, which is a must for Healer.)

Archer --> Quincy (Upgraded archer, with much better skills.)

Mercenary --> Assassin (New skills! =D)

Ninja --> Shinobi (I told you not to get a Ninja, and if you did. Why read a guide if you aren't going to do as it says?)

The whole point of T3 is to prep you for Bankai, and then Soul Society. We are nearing the end of our guide, kiddos, so here's what you do. Once your class is Genius Captain, or Lieutenant, you must find a good party. Get people with Meteor Shower and Shadow Mist, or whatever you can. And continuously level. Now, once you get Soul Level 45 as a Genius Captain (Hereby known as G.Cap) or a Lieutenant (Now known as Lieu), you may go get your Bankai. (Yes, we know, in the show only Captains have Bankai already. Lieus can get it now, too. DEAL WITH IT.) Well, you must take another short boat ride to T4. Ask someone who knows the way, they may take you. Then go south and a little bit west of T4 until you reach a small shop surrounded by trees. Welcome to the Urahara Shop. Now, talk to Tessai and heal.
Make sure you do any last minute changes, then un-equip your units with the Edit Units menu. (Explained earlier.) Now, talk to Urahara and go through two trials. You must fight Ururu, and then Jinta. The easiest way to do this is to Create Clones, and then use Power Strike continuously. Rest when necessary. (This is for G.Caps. For you Lieus, who do not have Create Clones: God be with you. ) After you defeat those two, talk to Urahara again, and he will give you your Bankai. Bankai IS NOT an attack. It simply adds 1,000 to your Attack Power, and gives your blade an elemental property. These are the elements you can choose from:
Earth
Fire
Ice
Ghost
Shadow
Undead
Lightning
Poison

You pick your element, and name it, and then you fight Urahara. He isn't too tough. After you win (or lose, you don't HAVE to beat him yet.) Go back to T3 and begin to train to Soul 50. Once you finally do get there, go back to Urahara's shop. If you didn't earlier, beat Urahara. Now, you must fight Menos Grande, and then you are in Soul Society. Menos is very simple, like Ururu and Jinta and Urahara, only thing is, now..You must use Energy Burst instead of Power Strike. This is far as this walkthrough goes. There will be another section on the squads, their leaders, their requirements, and their bonuses (Coming later). Have fun, and I hope this helped
