Sonic Role Play, or SRP is a forum for Sonic themed role playing that I just made. SRP has some pretty cool codes installed for optimized role playing. including an automated store for buying equipment for your characters, and a dice rolling system for even better, fair role playing! After just the first day, we already have over 150 posts! This forum is becoming very promising, so join us!

Welcome to Sonic Role Play, or SRP! Here, we have many unique role-playing features that makes role playing much more enjoyable than the average role playing forum. Our main feature is our shop that will soon be filled with items to enhance your Sonic characters.

Not only do we role play with our Sonic characters, but with other characters as well! We have room here for more than just Sonic. If you want to start role playing, just start a thread, whether it be a Sonic role playing thread, or something else, and wait for other members to join!

Even if you aren't very interested in role playing, I bet you can find yourself a nice home here at SRP!

Along with role playing, we have a sprite/pixel art section to show off your stuff!

SRP General Rules
• Flaming and trolling isn't tolerated
• No abusing the smilies
• Posts must be related to the thread topic unless you're posting in the spam forum
• All posts must contain a complete sentence, or anything relevant to the topic. For example, maybe a picture. No one word posts followed by 3 or 4 smilies
• Make an effort to use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation to the best of your ability
• This rule kind of goes along with the one before this, but reframe from using leet speak or chat speak. Also, terms like n00b are fairly stupid to use and is considered leet speak.
• Do not abuse the PM system
• No double posting unless you are bumping a topic or are role-playing. If you feel you have a good reason to double-post, you probably can.
• Instead of double-posting to add an idea to a previous post you just posted, edit the first post!
• Don't revive a dead topic, unless you have very good reason to revive it. This is called bumping, which you can only do with good reason
• No posting of any inappropriate images. I shouldn't have to explain this
• Staff members: Do not abuse your staff privileges. This means don't warn everyone for little or no reason, don't close topics unless they need to be, don't open closed topics just to post once, Don't edit other people's posts without a just reason to, etc.

Role Play Rules
There is only a few but crucial rules:
• NO POWER-PLAYING. This means taking other people's characters into your hands to your benefit.
Example of power-playing: *Raticus picks up Twoshoes by the neck, and chokes him to death*
Example of decent role-playing: *Raticus picks up Twoshoes by the neck, and begins choking him*
Power-playing is bad, m'kay?
Of course, power-playing is all right if it's between two characters that are both yours, but I'm sure that's a given.
• Also, no God-modding. God-modding is basically what it says it is; your character becomes godlike. This means you cannot dodge every attack thrown your way, no one-hit KOs, and suchlike. Once again, if both characters are yours this is allowed.
Those names I made up off the top of my head are referring to the word radical, which means he's an evil character, and Goodie-Two shoes, meaning he was a good character.

Everything posted in this forum belongs to the poster unless stated otherwise, by the poster. Don't steal others' work! If you post someone else's art, at least don't claim it as your own; and preferably credit the creator with a name or link to the original piece.

To all art owners: We suggest you put a logo or © mark on your artwork lightly in a corner to prevent theft. On the piece itself, not next to it. Alternately, you can use something called steganography to mark your drawing in the code. Then if you see a pixel art that looks like yours, you can check it steganographically.
