Event Ideas

got any event ideas we can use?? if so post here ^.^~~

Post the name of event, how to play it, rules and MAYBE what winner can get (if reasonable)

Please post some thats not really all pvp and etc so everyone can play ^.^~~

Well this might require a lot of work but I'm not sure.

Like a kind of obstacle course that people have to try and race through with things like a big maze and killing monsters that may drop an item required to move to next area etc. Whoever makes it to the finish line first, wins! And probably disallow skills.

Hmm how about like mabey 2x XP event for easter or something along those lines?

I know, like next time a big update comes out, put it for like 5X XP for a week or two.

Plus u guys need to make a veteran skill, somthing only we can use and u must give it to us....

and also, a Job Event, if u win, u can make a new job.. this is what my nightmare job would sorta looklike from the front:

Invasion of towns? getting more difficult depending on the town, I'd love to see a massive poring attack on prontera :P.
Like the obstacle course idea aswell, could have it open for a few days, when someone starts theyre timed till they hit the finish. Best time wins!

I have an idea for an event:

Name Of The Event
Symbol

Point Of The Game
The point of this game is to capture all four areas before the other team.
In order to do this on Ragnorok we will need a GM in active veiw at all times. When someone has captured a Symbol- A monster of some sort, should make it 200hp and you can only deal 1 damage at a time so your whole team has to work together, as they also protect their own Symbols- they have to report to a GM-Whisper- and the GM will broadcast a Symbol has been taken. (Game Takes Some Time To Complete, But Its A Lot Of Fun).

How To Play
To play we need an active GM, for best results you'd have two.

A PvP arena with 4 no element still monsters who can't fight back with 100-200hp(Monster can not be able to regenerate health)

Two teams made by levels, or Guilds, or by whatever. If there are not many people online to do the event(Set A Time For Everyone To Be On At Once) make it only 3 or 2 symbols to capture(monsters to kill).

No Ice Walls

No betraying a party

GM's will have to check and spawn enother monster when they get the whisper about the capture.

If Sneaky could make this work like WoE and everyone gets kicked out of the area except the party when a Symbol is captured that would be great. Takes some time, and this would be a reacuring event. Like a WoE, but Capture the Symbol. (Doesn't have to, but thats an idea. Will bring popularity to the server).

hows this, we have a pvp event, but with no equips allowed, so its like hadn to hand combat, will be interesting, so basically relying on str and vit and i spose agi and dex for hit purposes

HI this is Maladusted Monarch umm i was thinking of an event it's called catch the virus


what you do: you have three people transformed as the monster virus
Two other people have to get them
But the two people trying to get the viruses have to have no equipment and arent allowed to cloak or hide. Although they are allowed to use skill like: agi up,blessing,wind walk,angelus ect








please consider this event it will be fun

I was thinking about a relay of about 3 people on each team 2 people have to be monster(anymonster but has to be a different monster to the other team)
you also have a team mascott whoever kills your team mascott and this can mean a spectator so choose your mascott wisely

your allowed to kill other players so its sort of a pvp relay
and no skills like agi up or anything to make you stronger are allowed







i hope this might give someone else a good idea or even better
put on the server

well relays works but there wouldn't be a point of being a monster so ya but da relay thing works lol i'll add that to my list i got like umm around 40 events to try out stick with me ppl gota try em all =p

how about find the monster
its when a NORMAL player not GM is turned into a monster and everyone has to find em except the GM's the Gm's say what town they are in and there you have a simple game

I got an idea, Tagg Team pvp.
You pvp but on different circumstances.
I guess most know what the idea is but if not:
You pvp in a team, each team must exist of the
same ammount of players, its actually like 1vs1
but you can go to 1 of your other team members in
the line of where your team is so he fights instead of you.
You may not heal a party member, only buff, and if you die
you may not enter pvp again not even by ressurection, you
may use pots or sit when you tagg an team member.
The idea is simple, the teams may exist only with 1-5 lvl
difference so it stays fair and only normal players may fight.
If trancendant players want to do this they may only do it with
other trancendant players.

If this idea is used the prize(s) are something for every member of the winning team.

PVP - No weapons, no armors, no anything in the team battle. How about this one? Can't use magics in this battle because it like cheating will be kick out.

4 vs 4 or 8 vs 8?

Watch people getting punches the living hell of them.

Btw: Can't get back into the PVP at all. Have this lock after the players enter the team boxing match.

Leave your stuffs at the storeage before entering. Sneaky will lockout the magics and check everyone to see there nothing they have.

HP have to be same as everyone else. Maybe the lvl and sp will be disbaled.

Nahh. Those with no STR can't compete.

How do you Figure that?

if u have tones of agi, then they cant even hit u

Well if ur a wiz u can just as well not compete, and i'm talking about those without fighters, such as peeps who got low lvl or only a wiz or so. And even with tons of agi an hunter still hits the ###### outta u just lil dmg.

New event idea!

There are over 100 Porings, they are spread out(so you can't really use AOE attacks that much) and one of them has an item you need to win.

Level/Monster depends on the people playing.

the item has to be a misc item.

Prize: ?

A bare fist pvp would be kinda pointless b/c certain job wouldn't be able to compete.

Personally, I'd say the best events are like the chocolate egg ones, left on for a few days because that way everyone can take part :D.

On ORO [oceania ro] they had a novice olympics. It was only open to lvl 1 novices, you couldnt leave the training grounds and there were afew events. 1st was the poring kill, 1000's of porings in 1 room, 1 had a special item to collect. 2nd was novice royal rumble, all in 1 room, and the room got smaller every minute so you couldnt hind, kill or be killed. 3rd was novice marathon, a novice race up Mt.Mjolnir [mjolnir_04], sounds easy well the gms left the flora and agros there just for fun heh. They had special items from the winners and runners up eg novice olympics bunny ears. Maybe we should try it.
