Battle of the Fanchars V - Part One

Somewhere, in an underground lair ...

A dark figure stands tall, silhouetted against a large television monitor mounted against the wall behind him. It casts a pale blue light across the room as it plainly displays a map of the world. The light barely travels a few feet before fading, casting the rest of the room in shadow.
xxxThe figure stands at the head of a curved table that roughly makes a the shape of horse shoe. Many people sit around this table, their figures hardly visible in the light cast from the low-hanging fluorescent lights, obscured by a smokey haze.
xxx'Gentlemen,' says the figure at the head of the table. There is a cough from the end of the table and the figure adds, 'And lady. You are all probably wondering why I gathered you here.'
xxx'You said we were ordering sushi,' says one of the men.
xxx'Yes ... that was a lie.'
xxx(gasps)
xxx'It has come to my attention,' continues the figure. 'That seems to be lack of role playing action on Sly's Underground. Which is why I have gathered you here to announce: Battle of the Fanchars V!
xxx(gasps)

Welcome to Battle of the Fanchars V. I couldn't really think of a snappy title to go with this installment. I was thinking of something along the lines of 'Origin' or 'Rebirth', but I can always edit the topic title later.

There is absolutely no planned storyline, no competing for points to become the winner and no rules (except, for the love that all that is holy, DON'T CONTROL SOMEONE ELSE CHARACTER). Everything you could do from BotFC I is back, including writing from an NPC's perspective. Any established history in the BotFC Universe is completely erased, giving a nice clean slate for us to jump all over.

There will be no Gamemaster and any disputes will have to be settled by:

1. Vote and/or discussion in Part One, or
2. Over the top fight to the death in Part Two, preferably ending in a huge explosion.

Yes, you can reuse your old character, or make things fresh and create a new one. Or just do what you always do and create a new character that's exactly the same as the old one.

And remember, Jack Phoenix dies first ... I mean, have fun.

BACKGROUND
Mark was born in Montreal, Canada, during a vacation being taken by his parents. Brad was born 3 years later. Both of Mark's parents worked extra hours to support their family, with Tom getting fired from various jobs several times, and eventually hanging on to a job as a factory worker. His mother was a nurse, and a well respected one at that. However, tragedy struck as a plane she was on crashed into a Russian mountainside; she was on her way to an international doctors seminar. She was burried in her hometown of Moscow. Having lost his mother and barely seeing his father for his working of many hours, Mark turned to Sensi Chione as a parently figure. Chione treated Mark as a son, teaching him all he knew about karate. However, once Chione left the United States for Japan, Mark was once again left alone. He began hanging out with Urstad, a drug dealer on the streets of Atlanta. Having no where to turn to, Mark became part of Urstad's "family", AKA a deadly gang of drug dealers. After a fight broke out with another gang, Urstad and Mark fled to Seattle, leaving the drugs behind but the criminal intent with them. The duo has pulled off many heists, and have had a lot of expierience with the law. The one thing that has kept Mark from killing everyone in his sight that gets in front of his goal was his sensi's teachings, and because of such, Mark has been in jail several times.

xxxJack went to a good school in Belfast, and got 8 GCSEs. He went to Queen's University, and while he was there, he got a job at Domino's to pay for stuff. When his rich uncle died suddenly, he left Jack his house and £2,500, which he spent on an off-road motorbike.

xxxJack spends most of his time off work in the grounds of the house, building ramps out of wood and jumping over things on the motorbike, and usually landing the right way up. He is good at making things out of wood, and can cook a little, something he learned from working at a pizza parlour.

BACKGROUND
Growing up in Oxford, England, North was first introduced to lying on his birthday, April Fools Day. Due it being a celebration at such a young age, the tricks played on him were usually pleasant, which lead to him taking a liking to tricking people.

While his sister practiced violin, North would spend hours going through routines and expressions. His early found skills proved useful during his education, cheating answers off of other students and passing Drama with flying colors.

By the age of twenty, North had become a professional con man, working alongside his college roommate and partner in crime, Guy Parker. He was making thousands left and right until the night his father, Thomas, was murdered.

The following investigation lead a discovery to his actions and resulting conviction and seven years imprisonment without bail. The only thing that got him through his time in prison was the thought that he would find and kill the man responsible for his father's death.

But that never happened. North made parole five years into his sentence as a rehabilitated man, and enlisted in Interpol a year later. He still keeps in contact with Parker, using him as an informant to the underworld, but holds a slight grudge against him avoiding being arrested all those years ago.

Oh, I forgot. Fauxhawk. Glavine has a fauxhawk. That's the 2 characters now! (Jericho-BotFC III)

Battle of the Fanchars V - Part Two

We start off in a similar way to BotFC I, with North (I really think that is an awesome name) walking the streets of Paris at night. He and his partner have been tracking an arms dealer (unnamed as of yet), and their only lead, Jack Phoenix, has been poisoned.

In the same manner as Bravo, North is traveling to Pierre's to meet an anonymous tipster on what's going on.

So we can start any way we want?
