Yes, it's frustrating. It really is. But who knows. Maybe our chatter will alert someone to the fact that we're alive over here. LOL! Course, i haven't really done much advertising, either, aside from RPG-D.
I've found a few exceptions to the rule of books being better than the movie. Jane Eyre is a good example. The book is long and far too descriptive and boring. But the movie is sooo much better. You can get past the annoying descriptions and right to the story, which really is a good story. Interview is another example, but it also helps to have the author of the book writing th escreenplay LOL! Interview is my all-time favourite movie.
My all-time favourite book is by her sister, Alice Borchardt It's called The Silver Wolf. And yes, I had the name before the book came out. lol. It's actually why I read it. my mom used to work at the local library and when she saw the book during the screening process, she snatched it up and gave it to me to read before it even went on the shelf. I fell completely in love with it. Since you like to read, you might just enjoy it.
That seems to be the general concensus these days. Everyone's too busy.

But we're not really a fast-paced site, so if you want to check it out, the button is in the affiliates box up top. I mean, it's taken us five years to get from October to December. And that's including several time jumps! lol.
Ah, well, I have no idea what my dad is. Not that it would have mattered, anyway. He wasn't much for religion. or anything. But, my mom left him when I was two, so it doens't really matter, lol. My mom's side is extremely Catholic. My grandfather is a retired Deacon! So telling them I'm a witch is really not a good thing ...
