Requesting a Mission, Flash! Takeru Takes a Job!

Takezo had been rather insistent this morning, and had even given him a good sized breakfast, full of protein and vitamins to up his energy levels. Though he would have enjoyed another training day, maybe to learn a new set, or even, if lucky, a new technique, the first job of a genin is always a strong one, and a determining factor for how they will be given missions later in life. He wanted a mission that wasn't overly difficult or too easy; getting death-jobs or pet sitting for the rest of his life, while the death-jobs would make him stronger, would either way piss him off. Horribly. So instead, he entered the office, looked for a table that wasn't processing, and came up to the desk-manager. "Morning, Kusanagi Takeru, Genin Rank, requesting my first genin mission..... do I sign something?....." Honestly enough, Takeru, better known by the village as Yamato, had no idea exactly what he was supposed to do, if he was traditionally even supposed to request one. So he just stood there, at attention, waiting for whatever job they were going to give him.

The clerk looked over his stack of papers at the young Genin snapped to attention. "Your first mission eh? Well, traditionally Genin are given missions designated for an entire squad but ah......Well let me see here." Quickly flipping through a few papers he found the boy's file. "Let's see here. Hmm, I suppose I could give you this one." Picking up and filing through yet another massive stack of papers the clerk pulled out a mission slip and handed it to the boy. "This one should be fine."

Details: This one is rather simple. An elected official from Konoha is currently staying here in Kiri and is about to depart. However one of his more recently made descisions has upset a large portion of the common folk here in Kiri. The mission is to simply escort him to the gate where his guards can pick him up without him being recognized/bombarded/assaulted/pelted/mugged.

"..... Thank you. And I'll hopefully be on a team soon enough. Thank you in any case for this. I accept it, of course." With that Takeru shot off to the location of the official, hoping that nothing had happened to him in the time since he'd filled this request. Getting him out should be interesting; Kirigakure wasn't always the most lawful of places. This looked to be one helluva day...
