Thing about AP being Anti-Personnel:

Isn't every weapon anti-personnel? And APs are much more than anti-personnel, if I get this right they can blow doors and perhaps walls. I thought that's what they are for.

And I'll ask again: Are there APs outside Compact Space?

Kilts. No, it's not over yet. biggrin.gif

There are a bunch of ladies who think kilts are sexy, me being one, long before I ever read anything cherryh.gif .

@Bet re: men in kilts. There are ladies out there who appreciate it, like webcomic artist Jennie Breeden, who has developed an annual routine of hunting men in kilts after hours at DragonCon with a leaf blower. eek.gif

Certain weapons are much more, or much less, effective against people. Shotguns and fragmentation grenades are devastating to people, but do far less to vehicles. 50-caliber bullets from MG's and rifles can penetrate engine blocks. Their designations are based on what they do best, not the whole spectrum of what they can actually damage.

Change is inevitable -- except from vending machines.

Ah, I get that.
It's just, I thought APs were mainly designed for damaging stuff (and thereby people).
But I'm probably wrong. Again.

Kilts ... I think I'm satisfied with inner images, thoughts, pictures and links about kilts for now. Who would have thought this could ever happen to me... biggrin.gif

mof's - I'm with BGrandreth (Giles Brandreth? Never!) Motherfrelling Officers.

AP's - I always thought Anti-Personnel, since armour-piercing is a bit dodgy with vacuum on the other side of the wall. As Xheralt says, some sort of fragmentation round - ideal for someone not used to firearms, which is the impression I get of the hani, who seem to much prefer hand-to-hand.
