Looks good. AMC seems to be turning it up a notch. I've been watching "Mad men" and am slowly "getting it" If this new show is done with a fraction of the intelligence that show holds, it (The Prisoner) should be great. -------------------- I've seen things you little people wouldn't believe... Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion bright as magnesium... I rode on the back decks of a blinker and watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate. All those moments... they'll be gone.

Why not? Maybe this one can have a satisfying ending, unlike the original, whose "denouement vanished up its own backside". (mad props to the mule for that delightful turn of phrase  ) -------------------- stePH

WOW!!! Comcast On Demand has all 17 episodes of the original. Watching Number 1 (I crack me up) now. Seems to be unedited and commecial free, just a promo for the remake so far.

I've got them "On Demand" as well. I have the DVD box set from A&E.  I wonder what order Comcast has them in? A&E put them in a different order from that I saw them in at 1:00AM on CBS all those years back. -------------------- stePH

Got the TiVo "Season Pass" set up this morning. Apparently AMC is going to be showing two episodes back-to-back for at least the next three weeks.
[edit] and apparently the entire series will run only three weeks (six episodes); if the Wikipedia entry is accurate, "Checkmate" will be the finale. -------------------- stePH

I like the new ones, not as much as the original but it is good. I miss the badges and the black and white clothes and Patrick McGoohan. It feels like a cross of the original and Lost to me. Comcast On Demand has the first two new ones up now and the rest the day after airing.

I am very much reminded of Lost- the atmosphere as much as anything. I liked the old unrealistic show.
