Starting Battles
When posting a GFX battle state what the battle is about in the title. It makes it more noticable when someone knows what they are going into battle with. Some people are better at certain GFX than others. Also when calling someone out post their unsername in the title. It makes it more noticable for that member. Rules for the battle are up to you, but please be thorough in your explanation as to avoid confusion. If you need a guide, feel free to use this template, but you are allowed to use your own:

CODE

[b]Number of Participants:[/b]
[b]Type of Graphic:[/b]
[b]Size:[/b]
[b]Color Scheme/Theme:[/b]
[b]Deadline:[/b]
[b]Other comments:[/b]

Note that if you are not able to complete a battle that you started, but everyone that will join has already added there pics PM a member of GFX staff and tell them that you want them to put the poll upp or if you want the topic trashed. Also if you do not finish your battle out, and it is past the topic deadline your battle will be trashed.

Battle Voting
When all entries have been posted and/or the deadline is up, the starter of the battle may either set up your own poll or PM a GFX staff, and we will set up the poll for you.

When the poll is up, members may vote freely for which graphic they believe is the best. Do not vote against a person just because you don't like them on a personal level; members are required to vote fairly. Flaming, insulting, cursing, or being rude is not allowed here, and if I or another staff member sees this the violator will be severley punished. If you lose or win, that does not give you justification to flame your pponent, and shows very bad sportsmanship.

Ripping
Anyone caught ripping a graphic in a battle will be severely punished. Don't rip just because you want to win, there's absolutely no honor in that, and I guarantee you that you will be caught and subject to the punishments. So don't rip. It's that simple.
