Mist of the 1500s, the sea were roamed by pirates of all sort of backgrounds and adventure. Each and every ship had their own purpose for savaging the seas; either to make a living or be at the top, they had something. They all were driven by their passion for the sea and go out for their own story and leave their mark if they see fit to. They come from the North, South, East and West lands of their home, they called Earth. Each side had their enemies, however each direction had their enemies from the opposite side. North and South would battle to the death, as well as East to the West. No matter what storied they had, they would kill anyone in their path; or so most of them did. Many different crews from each side of the world would dream of being the ruler of the seas from every direction. Whatever they had to do, they did it. Steal from noble ships of import or exporting, or stealing from other pirates, they did what ever they could. Fighting never seemed to be among the people of the four lands, but of the pirates that roam them all. Some crews of the same side would band together to defeat a side, yet would fight each other in the end, still fighting to be at top.

Today as the Kings of each side stands tall they search to fight to be at the top of them all. Through great battles, they search to find each other. Only one will come at the top and be marked as the King off the Four Seas

This Rp is pretty simple. Its Four pirate captains wanting the title King of the Four Seas. First three asking for a king place will get it and I'll look over the profiles. Everyone else wanting to join that miss the chance to be a king will have to be a crew mate on one for the four ships. As you can see in the profile set up below, I am LIMITING female characters, because this may not be our earth story, but it’s the same elements that make it up basically. Any questions just ask and go ahead and Join!

The reason for the low woman players are because there were only TWO woman pirates and NEITHER of them were captains. I’m sorry for the rule, but I’m keeping to it. Personality:
Jonathan is a serious captain but a relax and firm one in public and he that takes his fights at sea. When in a city and he sees other pirates in a bar or in the streets, he will not pick a fight. He may throw a few words to insult them and they might yell back, yet Jonathan will never fight on land. Even when seeing a natural born enemy from the south, he only fights them at sea.

Woman “pirates” do not easily soothes him; he practically insults them in any way possible and treats them like nothing, until they prove his opinions wrong. This attitude is towards woman “pirates” his opinion would be the line of, “there nothing but sluty whores wanting attention.” He’s not sexist, against the women in general; but only to women pirates.

Background:

As a boy, Jonathan loved the sea, and he couldn’t keep away. He was naughty and rude as a child and was always getting into trouble. At Age 12 he started his sword fighting to see id it would help discipline him. At age 18 he left home and finished his training at age 20, but still works to improve his skills. The scar that line his front part of his body is an attack from a pirate that met him on his journey’s beginning. After that day, , he swore never to underestimate anyone again. He was fast on his feet into learning and he became a captain of a crew at age 25. He grew in his knowledge and in skills and received the title: King of the North when he was 27. He also received the title: Devil of the Northern Sea, because his attacks left burning scars on your body when he was done with you. The tattoo that lies on his chest is a symbol for his ship. Two simple slashed meaning: Scared at the Soul

Today he sails around with his crew, fighting any crew that comes in their and dreams of being the King of the Four Seas.

Personality:
Keha has a cut-throat, no-tolerance personality. She's definitely not one to get angry as she'd cut your throat as soon as look at you. Since she is so disrespected by men, she has learned to hate them back. The only men she shows any respect to are the few on her ship who've earned it with their blood. She doesn't have much to say about most women either, as they seem to take the trashing that is dealt to them, but she doesn't hate them. Anger and discipline are the main parts of her life, and the only thing that soothes her is the spray of the sea.

Being on land is much to her distaste, and she becomes much more irritable when stuck there, only stopping to stay for short whiles to re-stock and leave again. The sea is her home, and those who have tried to take it from her, have lost life or limb.

Background:
Keha was raised on the shore by her mother as an illegitimate child. Her father was a pirate, and her mother often spoke fondly of him. When she was around 6 or 7 years of age, she tried to get her mother to teach her sword fighting, but her mother strictly refused, so she saved the money she could and bought herself a sword to train herself.

There came a time though that darkness fell on she and her mother. The village they lived in celebrated the death of the pirate by the name of Atlas, whom they did not know as Keha's father, and two months after the news, when Keha was 10 years old, her mother threw herself into the sea to her death.

For the next six years, Keha raised herself, trained herself, and eventually stole herself a ship, taking the crew that ran it already, but slowly gained a crew worthy of her ship, man by man.

Shortly after gaining her ship and some crew, Keha spent some time on the Eastern lands then seemingly disappeared off the face of the planet for about two years, before returning to her ship and rebuilding a crew.

After this, any shipmate who dared oppose her, she had keel hauled, and replaced him with another. “When the sea takes a love, it always gives back a bigger, deeper one” she said, and in place of the love for her mother, she was given the love for the sea. For her father, she took the name Lady Calypso as in the Greek mythology, the daughter of Atlas, and became the Pirate King of the West.

Personality: Christopher is solemn and cold to all who meet him. He talks very little, and when he does, it is only to give orders in a very plain tone. However, when angered, his tone becomes lower, and his voice quieter. It takes a great deal to actually anger him, and he remains calm and controlled even in the midst of battle. He is not paranoid, but is naturally wary of the trustworthiness of his shipmates, and makes sure he is not being betrayed. He greatly respects any and all shipmates who prove themselves in combat, and may occasionally spare the life of an enemy who is a worthy opponent (unless they are, of course, from the West, in which case he will commend them on their skills, but kill them in the end). He has no respect for women who are not pirates, but does not really insult them. He considers them tools, and nothing more. He finds it unreasonable that one would insult a woman just as much as it would be unreasonable to insult a shovel if you were a digger. He bears slight more respect for female warriors (pirates) but also bears a dislike of them, as he sees them as women who are unruly, and do not know their place. Should they prove themselves in battle against him, his view may change slightly in their favor, but he will still view them as rebellious and immature (part of the reason for his hatred towards the Western pirates is that the men are so weak as to allow a woman to command them)

Background: Christopher was born into a family of wealthy sea-merchants. He grew up with his father teaching him their trade, as well as showing him that women are mere tools meant to do the tasks not worthy of a man's time, but he never enjoyed learning of the merchant-trade, and preferred to watch the guards of the ship (as merchants of their wealth needed guards on their ship) practice their swordsmanship. It was while sailing after a particularly profitable deal that the ship was attacked by a crew of Eastern pirates. The guards had dealt with pirates before, but in the end, they were outnumbered and outmatched, and the merchants were captured. The pirates took all the money on the ship, and took Christopher hostage, telling his parents that if they wished to see him again, they would return to their home, and send them a great deal more treasure (as no wise merchant carries all their wealth with them). Christopher knew that the sum they asked for was in the possession of his parents, although it was more than three quarters of what they owned, and he was horrified when, after several days, they never sent the ransom.

Christopher, though, watched the pirates as they captured more ships, studying their skills (they had not executed him, as no good pirate would give up even the slight chance for the great wealth Christopher's family possessed) and eventually begged one of the lower-ranked shipmates to allow him to practice. The pirates did not view him as a threat, and figured that if he truly wished to join them, they might as well allow it. Christopher learned, and trained, and eventually, he was respected by the shipmates as 'Young Pirate' for his skill (he was not greater than any of them, of course, but they were impressed by how well he was doing for his age). He spent three years with the pirates. He had been twelve at the time of his capture, and was now fifteen. The pirates decided he was now of age to be a participating raider. One year after, Christopher gave them the location of his parents, and personally killed both of them, and took their money.

Years passed, and Christopher's skills increased greatly. He eventually had earned enough of h is own share of treasure to purchase his own ship, and left the pirates he had spent so long with (not without complications, of course, but in the end they let him peacefully leave, as he swore to avoid combat with them). He grew in power, but never showed any true joy, only the cold, empty shell-like personality. It was this personality that gave him the name 'Shadow', as he often wore black, rarely spoke, and was very agile and dexterous. Finally, he reached his kingly status, and was well known for his treatment of those he found... unworthy of his trust. None knew exactly what happened to them, but they knew their remains were never found, and their screams never forgotten. He wishes to become ruler of the seas, although the exact reason is unknown, most believe he simply lusts for control and power. He spends almost all of the wealth he attains to purchase more upgrades for his ship, and ships under his control.

(Sorry that it was so long. I don't believe we've met, but I have a self-proclaimed reputation of very long elaborate stories, especially when making rp's of my own, so it's hard for me to break the habit, great apologies)

You look good, but remeber when having a nickname "Shadow of the Sea," (which sounds really cool XD) it would be in his home land more than it would be in any other land . Though when talking about the four seas all in general, that would be the "King of the Four Seas job .

Keep that in mind and It looks good to me .

Personality: Felix is a calm, chivalric guy. Though more than once Felix has shown another side to himself, a humourous, smooth and sly side which he shows when he wants to persuade someone, or make someone more comfortable. His age makes many think he's immature, though Felix is actually a very mature young man.


Background: Felix is the first Easterner to betray his homeland- due to his tyrannical father -and join the Lady Calypso on her ship. The Lady had owed him, and took him onto her ship as his reward. She'd owed him because an unwanted, large man had been flirting with her (this was in her first days as a captain) and Felix had fought off- and killed -the man, immediately taking the Lady out of the tavern, and sweet-talking her into letting him go with her thus earning him the nickname Charmer.
The nickname Chance was given by friends in his old home, and even by the Lady, because of his habit of defying orders if he thinks he has a better idea, and therefore taking huge risks.

Personality: He's hated by alot of people but his crew adores him. The North dipises him the most but who can blame him? Jack is pretty sarcastic in many ways but he's a very strong leader. He uses his brain and not his gut for tight spaces. He usually thinks things through before doing them. He's a pretty intelligent guy but he doesn't show it much. He may be small looking but don't underestimate him, he can and will kick your bum-bum if he needs to. ÙHe go his nickname because opf his name and alot of people hate him, so his crew started calling him Cap'nt Jack Sparrow. The ones under him, like the new pirates to his ship, they call him just Cap'nt.

Background: He had a fine life until his mother died. He started respecting women ever since. When his mother died, his father turned on him all of a sudden. He didn't want to speak to him or see him. It was as if it was all Jack's fault his mother died but she died at seas. He became a pirate to search for his long lost mother but he never found her. He was attack by a bad of pirates and he met up with his first mate, Harvey. They became best friends at first sight. They are forever to be friends, so they say, until the end. His friend and his father gradually helped him become a better pirate, they helped him until he proved hs skills very well and was "crowned" the Captain of the South at the age of 20. He takes this as a great important resonponsibility.----------------------------------------------------------

Personality: He's a very loving guy, the entire crew loves him to death, he's the best friend of the Captain. He adores his job, even if he's scrubbing the poop deck. He loves his best friend to death as well, he loves the crew as well and doesn't really hate often. The only person he hates is the North, since he has no choice, but he does kind of feel sorry for the guy a bit.

Background: He befriended the Captain by finding him stranded on an island. His father was a pirate as well and he climbed aboard to learn how to be like his father. Even though he's a First Mate on the ship, his father was very pround of Harvery until his dying day. His mother died after his birth, he never really knew her.

um no hes last name is Sawer you say it like "saw" and with "er" at the end i did iot on purpose and the nicknane i thought it was obvious...his name is Jack and he is hated by alot of people so he got the nickname Cap'nt Jack but i guess i might as well add it in...*sigh* stupid correcting...but ill do it anyway -^-^-
