OOC: Sorcha, you and Vinyaya are welcome to join Ninetails and I when your ready

Damien could not ignore the feeling that there was someone nearby but for the time being he put them out of mind, they would make theirselves known if they wished too. He turned back to Sydnie and smiled "Very well then, I shall show you." She was so eager to learn he was glad of it. He cast a circle upon the ground, carefully drawing the circle in white chalk. He made sure Sydnie could see what he was doing so that she could learn.

Once this was done he placed white candles around the outside of the circle, making sure that they would not fall over. He then lit a stick of sandalwood incense which would aid in his summoning spell, allspice to attact the spirit and agrimony to make sure it was pure and friendly. As he did this he outlined the steps he took to his student, telling her what he was doing and why he did so. Then he sat in the centre of the circle with the incense burning around him and began the spell.

"Blood of my blood, you spirits of love, Come from below and from above; Entities loving who wish me well, Come to this circle when I sound the bell. "

He then drew a bell from a pocket and struck it three in times and waited patient. Suddenly there was a rush of wind where there should be no wind and the candles were exstinguished. Damien smiled "Welcome guardian spirit, I ask thee now to watch over this house and we who dwell within. Protect us and warn us of any who draw near." He then put out the incense and looked up to Sydnie with a smile "that is how it is done. Now we are guarded by a spirit, we are safe."

Sydnie was whaching him very carefully once again as Damien did the new spell. He smiled at her and said, "That is how it is done. Now we are guarded by a spirit, we are safe." Sydnie just nodded and smiled back.

She now had a new question, "Uhm, Damien?" she started. "Do you know who is here?" She was awaiting his response.

While she waited she thought, I wonder who is here, and what do they want...Are they nice or mean? Are they going to hurt us? Who are they? All these thoughts went into her mind at once. She tried pushing them away without much sucess.
