TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The M32 Multiple Grenade Launcher (Model: M32 MGL-140) is a shoulder-fired, double action, semi-automatic infantry support weapon, firing both 40x46 mm and 40x140 mm lethal and less-than-lethal rounds with revolver action from a detachable drum magazine. It features a six chamber cylinder drum that can accept standard length lethal and extended length less-lethal, as well as enhanced hyper lethal and speciality grenade rounds.

It is designed to be an area support weapon with a high rate of fire. Six 40 mm calibre grenades can be fired in 3 seconds at ranges of up to 400 meters, effectively covering a minimum destruction area or zone of 20 metres by 60 metres. It can also be used to provide pin point direct fire accuracy out to 150 metres.

Construction is of a progressively rifled steel barrel mounted in a steel frame, with aluminium cylinder and polymer furniture including a pistol grip. The frame features a sight rail for an occlude eye gunsight and quadrant MIL-STD-1913 Pictainny rails surround the barrel. There is a top-folding buttstock fitted with a rubber recoil pad. The buttstock is skeletonised to allow unobstructed folding across the frame-mounted occluded eye gun sight.
