FAQ

1. How do I get a set of rotating set of more than one signature?

To get a randomized signature, you need to use an image randomizer! I recommend and use random-image.net, as it allows you to host more than one randomizer at a time.

2. How detailed of a background does my character need to have?

We want to know where he or she came from, how (s)he got to Miami, and if your character is a supernatural, how (s)he was turned. We'd like to be able to know as much about him or her as possible, but we don't need to know how (s)he fell and scraped his or her knee when (s)he was five. Give us whatever you think is necessary to get to know your character on a basic level.

3.Can vampires eat and drink regular food, or can they only imbibe blood?

They can, but they do not need to.

4.Is it possible for vampires to sustain themselves by feeding off of animal (non-human, non-supernatural) blood?


Vampires can not sustain themselves on animal blood. They would need to feed on human blood at least once every forty-eight hours to remain totally healthy, and do not need to kill to survive. However, vampires can go longer without feeding and a vampire would be able to sustain that length of time by drinking blood from other warm-blooded animals. That individual would be sickly, and slow, but could do it.

However, there are other humane alternatives to blood drinking. Blood drives are held specifically for vampires, and procuring donated blood is not difficult or public.

5.What's the background on the Force? When did it start? Is it a religious institution? Do they only accept people with an investigative background or would they take someone else who was interested--say, an accountant?

It started very recently, as in within two years time (though the exact timeline is not pinned down). It was organized by a Priest, and so has deep ties with religion but it is not in and of itself a religious institution. They accept anyone who is STABLE and wants to join. They make a point of discouraging membership from people who are simply looking for carnage, but an accountant would certainly be useful to them.


6. Is the Force in anywhere but Miami?

There have been reports of similar groups outside of Miami but they are not affiliated with the Force, nor do they share its name. Essentially, the Force is considered a consulting entity similar to a Private Detective. Other similar forces around the country are more like vigilante groups.

7. Is Miami the only place where the Supernatural is obvious, or might it be in another city?

Vampires and Lycans are considered "Mainstream" especially with the advent of the Cathedral coven and its brother and sister covens in the states. Because these Supernatural entities "start out" as humans, they are considered "more believable." Belief in Faeries, witches, or other supernatural beings such as demons and angels is widely varied, mostly on an individual basis.

8. When did the drug first begin to be distributed by the imps? And when did the Sight begin showing up? And where are these incidents centered?[

No one is sure. The imp presence in Miami began very quietly, only recently (within a few months) has the Sight been linked to the distribution of the drug. The incidents are mostly centered in the "Shady" parts of town, and imps tend to congregate in the Abandoned Mall area.
