--Appearance: Standing at an imposing height, he could easily strike fear into the heart of anyone – if he cared. He’s thin, though it’s obvious he does work out – sometimes. He walks with a confident stride, unless he’s in a saddened mood, in which case, he slouches at times. Often seen in suits going to and from work, he’d much rather be in jeans and a tee – or the clothes he used to wear in the Faerie courts.

Alice keeps his old clothes hidden away, hoping for the days when he can return – hoping, but never banking on them. Often caught with a sad look in his blue eyes, he can easily wipe it away and fake a smile when someone is looking. Handsome enough to be attractive, he’s never had any trouble getting men or women – too bad he only wants one.

--Character: Bred by the light court, Alice is a picture of a perfect gentleman. He holds the door open, minds his please’s and thank you’s, and would always rather speak only when a response is needed of him. He has a loyal spot that runs straight to the bone, and if he takes a liking for you, expect to always be watched by him in some form or another.

He often worries and is easily saddened by mentions of his past, though pushes past them and moves forward. Keeping a cheery outlook on life is all that really keeps him going, and Alice makes sure it stays that way. When he gets down, he just needs to see the wings of a butterfly to think of all the things that make him happy.
Merits: Loyal, loving, protective, kind, can fake happiness
Flaws: Cocky, distracted, stand offish, sad most of the time
--Personality: Caring, loyal, protective, and yet stand offish are the words best used to describe Alice. Of course if he takes a liking to you, you’ll know. He’s always stand offish at first, seemingly shy, yet always confident. As he grows to care, it goes from a simple protective, almost brotherly nature to anyone, to being more loyal and protective than one could imagine.

Alice takes softly after butterflies, being able to imitate their silence and stillness, and even their grace, though he doesn’t have their peaceful ways. If you wrong Alice or someone he loves, you will know, and you will know soon. For all the ladies and gentlemen planning on chasing him, he’ll always be taken in his heart. The one thing he would never do if betray the Queen of the Dark Court. If anyone he loved dared hurt her, or even get too close to her with poor intentions, they would die, and he would be happy to do it. Too bad he was banished.
--Background: As a boy, Alice was raised in the light court, learning the art of all things the Light Faes do best. Artistic things, even matronly things in some aspects, though he learned hunting first and foremost, and fighting. His ability in fighting is trumped only by his ability in carpentry. As he was such as exceptional light faerie, everyone anticipated he would be the future King. When the Light Queen married a dark faerie who forsook his past for her, everyone was shocked, though Alice was not. He’d seen a picture of the Dark Queen, once in his entire life, and form that moment on, knew his heart would forever only belong to her.

When he was asked to accompany the Light Queen and King for peace talks with the Dark Queen, he was thrilled. He began courting her as soon as he could. It was a long and treacherous road, courting the Dark Queen while keeping his Light Court ties, but he successfully did it. He was never taken in as a Dark Faerie, though he spent most of his time there, he was never asked explicitly to be her King, and so he had no reason to give up his Light Court ties, remaining a fae of both sides.

One night, he awoke, leaving the side of his Queen for – well, only he knows what. All anyone else knows is someone ended up dead that night. During his ‘trial,’ few words were spoken. “Did you kill this Fae?” “Yes.” He was immediately condemned, banished from both Courts for all eternity or until further proof arose. Faeries can’t lie, did he kill that Fae? Only time – if that – will tell, but he does keep sending butterflies to his Queen, knowing she’ll know they’re from him, and even if she hates him, she’ll know he’s forever loyal to her only.

Intrinsic Abilities:
-Glamour – magic to make things appear what they are not
-Heightened reflexes – they have stronger, faster, better reflexes than you.
-Sense truth – Faeries can’t lie, though bend the truth well, and have a very heightened sense of when someone is lying to them or not.

Other Abilities
1-Animal to Call - The Fae has a mastery over a single species of animal – butterflies, in this case. They can command up to 2 of their chosen animal at one time, through a telepathic link.


Side Effects: He often can’t keep butterflies away, which is only a problem if he’s driving – which he hates doing – or he’s in a meeting, which just makes things awkward. He also often likes to sit still for long periods of time, and is very jittery with anyone approaches him, never caught off guard, but never fully realizing there’s someone there. He likes to avoid people – which isn’t very good for a businessman – but he would rather just hide in his office than see them. Also, he’s easily distracted by pretty colors, and has an odd grace about him – more so than an average faerie. Along with all those things, Alice is a bit of a neat freak. Not OCD, per se, but things have to be colorful, pretty, and in appropriate order. He also, of course, gets headaches if he tries to communicate with butterflies too long, and he loves the taste of everything sweet, and often wants to migrate and hide when it’s cold, along with wants to be asleep as soon as the sunsets and awake when it rises.
